Interesting that there are those in “The Community” who hold the Working Title Gx000 suite in such disdain. I had no idea that was a thing…?

I think the article was worded a little weird... but I took it to mean that some people don't love the full glass suite, and they feel that it's a shortcut to just drop in Garmin avionics. The thing is, it's SOOO much work and there's no such thing as drop in, as it has to be setup for the aircraft. Because of the powerful WT architecture the Garmins are very versatile, in the hands of the right dev that is - meaning they can be highly customized. We've seen it already with the FSReborn Phenom 300E, the FlightFX P180, and the FSReborn M500.

Could be. It just surprised me to see anyone take issue with the WT stuff in general.

I just don’t understand how anyone could “think” a from-scratch nav system makes sense for any dev. E.g., look at the trials and tribulations of the FSS E-Jets, etc.

IMHO it was a genius move for MS to unleash WT on the avionics, get them to a high leveL of func, and then ensure they’re open for all devs and extensible.

If there are walkaround things then yes it should be the native one... I see it has the covers on the engines. SHould be able to open the nose lockers too.

Yes. I was able to open covers and remove the pitot tube cover.

I'm going to assume that the CJ4 is also a native v2024. Maybe I just got lucky and was awarded free upgrades.

Yes, that's the 2024 native version.

On the right of that page, where it says "Compatible with....". The 2020 version says "MSFS2020 MSFS2024". The 2024 native version, just shows "MSFS2024" like above.

Thanks! That's why I posted the pic.

I think it was a few weeks after buying the standard version of v2024, that a few premium aircraft showed up as free purchases.

This is why I was confused that I kept reading that the upgraded versions were not native v2024. Since I only flew my beloved C510, I didn't even bother to test any of the free upgraded premium v2020 airplanes.

Now is the perfect time to test the Longitude. The Sovereign "should be" a nice upgrade. As always, I'll wait for the community to tell me if it's worth upgrading right away.

I know what I will be spending money on later this day.

I'm so pleased that, unlike the last two purchases I've made (FSR Phenom and Aerosachs P-Mentor), I'm not forced to buy something I want, from the Marketplace and have no access to config files.

Huge shout out to Skyward Simulations for giving us the choice. I'm not Orbx's biggest fan because I've had issues with Orbx Central's downloader failing on every single purchase for about 3 years. (I can get them, usually after 5 or 6 cache validations per product). Attempts to get help on their sycophantic forum have been utterly fruitless.

But still, I am so happy to not have to buy something I really want, from the MSFS Marketplace.
