While I get the sentiment, maintaining VOR is expensive (may be much less for NDB). At the end of the day even VORs go off to maintenance way more that GPS signal. Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Tuesday at 04:59 PM3 days After two GPS flights and two missed approaches, it seems the annoying GN430 GPS bugs are still present, not to mention the infamous orange WASM screen crash. VOR-to-VOR navigation, on the other hand, appears to be working well. Testing is still underway, but the DC-6 appears to be largely abandoned at this point. Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

In 11 years of professional flying in Canada, I have never “tracked a radial outbound” or flown anything other than an ILS or RNAV approach. There’s still a bunch that work up north, and even then, questionable why.
