Carenado PC24 for MSFS 2024

Featured Replies

It's on sale at the MP. Is it worth the $15?

MSFS

I'd say it's worth 15.

It's very much a default plane though. Carenado basically went light on the systems, aside from what WT worked on for the Honeywell - that avionics part is pretty good!

Visually it's decent. Strangely though they never animated the rear cargo door - kinda an important attribute of the PC24

Sounds are pretty much "meh" (or mid as my kids would say lol).

Flight model is alright. Nothing incredible.

This was supposed to be Premium Deluxe plane everyone was waiting for when 2024 came out. It's definitely much improved from when it was released, but it's a far cry from the C700 Longitude.

Don't expect Garmin if you jump in though - it's very different avionics. But WT did pretty well with it.

Me and TimHH painted it early on... so there are plenty of nice paints hehe

I got it and love it! It flyes like a dream. I have not explored it completely, but it's going to be flown alot. Thank you my brother.

MSFS

It deserves a higher rating than currently in marketplace.

If you own the premium deluxe package, you own the PC24.. 🙂

I own the standard version of MSFS 2024 and now own the Carenado PC24 for only $15. 😃

Pretty smart of me, don't you think Bert?

With the aviator edition I own all of these aircraft I’ve never tried, it’s good to hear there might actually be some hidden gems among them. I’ll have to start trying them, it’ll give my wallet a rest.

How do you see PC-24 compared to B390?

What do they have, what is missing from the default CJ4 and Longitude for a more casual simmer like me?

B390 is a little more expensive compared to the Pilatus, but not that much. And from there you don’t have to pay much more to go to CitationX… This is so difficult ;)

The PC24 is very different especially from an avionics standpoint. I always enjoy new avionics which is why I was looking forward to it. As I said it's an okay default aircraft. I think the CJ4 and C700 are much better though.

There are some good/worthwhile ones in there for sure.

It was GREAT to see the handful just released as Native 2024 pop up for “free” just this week. And I personally couldn’t care less about the ATR, but it’s there, too, should I ever get a wild urge for it 😁

I went with Premium Deluxe for 2020 and Aviator for 2024.

Being able to sample such a wide variety of aircraft on a whim has been worthwhile. I know for a fact it’s saved me more money than it cost. 🤙

Picked this up after reading this and seeing a few videos. Kind of like it! Love the avionics, looks gorgeous of course and flies pretty well. It's not 'Phenomenal' but it cost me £12 and for that, there is very little to complain about. I'll fly this a lot I think.

I'm really enjoying Carenado's PC-24. The only thing that I wish could be better, is the engine sounds. There's an annoying hissing sound. I managed to drown it a liitle with FSR+.

I love that you can access LIDO charts on the screen. It makes me wonder why devs keep pushing Navigraph subs when LIDO charts are good enough.

This is the type of aircraft that makes me so glad that I'm still alive.

I know where I'm flying today!
