Thursday at 04:02 PM2 days Last weekend, I decided to fly SEA-KEF with the 737 Max 8. In real life, this flight takes around 7 hours and 30 minutes, but in MSFS, I decided to do it with 2x time acceleration. On the first attempt, I had CTD approaching the coast of Iceland a few miles from TOD. Total flight time was around 4 hours and 30 minutes. On the second attempt, I had CTD more or less in the same place as the first, with a similar flight time.On the third attempt, I used 4x time acceleration and managed to complete the flight in 2 hours and 40 minutes.Seeing other comments, It seems that the iFly 737 Max is not capable of handling long flights in real-time. The iFly plugin must have some kind of memory leak that builds up during the flight, which may also explain the performance degradation in cruise that some are experiencing in addition to CTD's.
Thursday at 04:48 PM2 days Not sure what is considered a long flight but I did LAS-DCA as my first flight with the update a bit over 4hrs and had no issues. Definitely strange if it's the plugin not working correctly for some people. I have mine auto starting David

On the iFly Discord, someone reported a CTD after 2.5 hours of flight. Here, someone reported a CTD after 6 hours of flight.I believe that on average, between 4 and 5 hours of flight, you enter the danger zone for CTD with the iFly 737 MAX.

They were done only for the 189 seat layout.Again, does it really make that much difference? Wonder why Jviation made the SWA liveries for the 189 seat layout. The only all-economy layout available is the 189-seat configuration. Selecting the 178-seat layout will result in a two-class cabin. Unfortunately, that's just how the model is set up, so there's not much I can do about it.

It only affects 2024, and does not affect all users of 2024, so it's strange, but being worked on. Andrew Crowley

My only complaint is being that's it nighttime in South America, the Max beacon and strobe lights are way too bright and look like giant cones reflecting in all directions. Wish this can get fixed in 2024 release. I have a measly 6700K but the EFB app uses 6%-12% cpu cycles - it's killing performance for me. I had pretty good performance with the previous Max ver., I would say on-par with the PMDG 737's. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB

AIG 70%. Getting ready for landing, got to go. Just landed at SKIP, no ctd or issues other than the landing lights at nighttime.
