I didn't get any great pictures but I was at the Synaptic A220 booth at FSExpo today for about 15 min just listening to the developers. Both were very relaxed and they seemed very talented. It's funny people think this thing is vaporware but they were doing two demos (for people to try - I didn't dare because I don't fly airlines much haha). The state of the product looked very complete to my eyes! The avionics looked absolutely phenomenal. I did poke my head up really close to their demo monitors a few times. They captured the whine of the A220 nicely as well - I can't remember who is doing the sounds - maybe Echo 19? It could just be Synaptic themselves too.

I was curious about the ini partnership so I asked them - ini is basically their publisher but ini also did the textures. Everything else is done by Synaptic Simulations.

I will absolutely be getting this - mostly because I love unique avionics but also because of how cool the two main devs seemed to be at the booth. They are well aware people have been waiting for years for this hehe. They didn't give any release date hints. But looking at the state of the product I'd say this year for sure.

edit: Oh and one more connection with ini - this is speculation on my part - but the Global 6000 bizjet teaser from ini seems very plausible since the A220 share's avionics with the Global 6000 (Proline Fusion). We desperately need a long range bizjet!!

I'm going to crack open a cold one when the A220 and the 757 release. Hopefully in 2026 for both.

Looks absolutely incredible. I flew with airBatlic to Latvia a couple of weeks ago on one of their A220s. I couldn't believe how comfortable the experience was. Huge windows, great leg room, and not to mention that awesome sound! Really looking forward to this one. Also, a great opportunity to learn a different set of avionics other than the Boeing and Airbus norms.

I have to say this looks insane.

Even if it may not be strictly study-level (whatever one's definition), it may prove to be a lot of fun.

Patiently waiting for this one!

Spotted Delta, SWISS, Delta, Breeze, Korean (pre-2024?}, JetBlue and airBaltic liveries in the trailer, the perfect one for ops out of Lisium Riga.

Can already picture some Delta and SWISS ops to do in the Synaptic A220.

Thanks! Exciting news. I can finally put the FSS EJets to bed. Although not quite considered a Regional aircraft, more Transcontinental. Can't wait!
