Nearly perfect regional jet

Yeah. Very sad how Fokker went into bankruptcy in 1997 and production stopped way too early.

  • That's exactly how I feel, and if just one was available from JF as of tomorrow, I'd just buy the F70, as I see it as more of a pure RJ. But as far as I can see only the bundle is listed on JF as of n

That's insane, I had no idea it was! There's even some pictures on the internet:

I was going to pick it up at some point anyways, but with iniBuild's LCY already released, it will be sooner rather than later...

The Fokker 70 operated at London City Airport, but it wasn't a common sight there.

I think only Tyrolean Airways and Air Litoral operated Fokker 70s at London City. KLM flew to Heathrow instead of London City on its flights to London with the Fokker 70.

Air France too:

I think KLM only started LCY when they had already gotten the Embraers

This plane belongs to Air Litoral, a regional subsidiary of Air France at the time.

In the UK, they do use the Gregorian calendar, don't they?

With the heatwave going on there, they're probably worried about melting their server... :)

I think we're going to see a release delay.

It's 5:11pm here in the UK, so seems late in the day for a release to still happen today.

Nothing going on with the web site other than it being hammered by folks wanting to know where the Fokker is. Just Flight continuing the tease right up until the end. 'Coming tomorrow 25th June' when it is 6PM (UK) on the 25th June already. Good job JF..

One of the shop pages now lists it as $84.99 but it’s not quite available yet.
