So you know you cannot fly Micros...It's that moment when you kind of miss having to install FSX from a couple of CD-ROMs...The unfortunate reality of being tether to servers with no offline option. By all means, criticize MS for their mess ups, but keep some perspective in doing so."Why, back in my day we didn't need this 'electricity' thing. I was forced to a 20-day MSFS diet because my ISP screwed it up and left the whole block offline. I even asked for the possibility of improved offline textures for MSFS (unsuccessfully):Downtime was long enough for going to Brazil for a couple of weeks while leaving my rig behind. September 4Sep 4 Wow, the acceptance of a reliance ... CEO's love you folks ... lets change the terms at a whim, they're hooked. A more rational and positive response to this reliance (regardless of it's frequency and/or other factors that might impact users such as their ISP is down and/or the many other issues around connectivity) would be "Asobo, we would like an offline mode" (yes you lose PG mode and suffer the AG approach but you can still fly and enjoy) ... but because so many of you here seem conditioned to "that's how it must be" you don't look outside the box and just accept mediocrity and even pay for it.
