Hi Tom,These are from the uprise set at the end of the sky list. The sky color each 10 set change color pallette color for Impression, Impression II are the same but more saturated if I remember then Impression, there is the tropical sky which is very toned colored, also there is the uprise set at the end of the list which is more "smoogy" sky with different color type range.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg

Hi, "Is light bloom on to have the sun and reflections look that way?"not needed light bloom on, most shots are without bloom, water reflection are water not related to bloom. You will be fine with bloom off. ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg

FPS Question
Chris Willis replied to a topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support Forum
Hi,The frame rate are like default fsx or better, you can adjust your weather density to your experience with your own system spec, there is clouds option format and resolution to select in X graphics and you can limit clouds layer in ASX to avoid hard frame rate hit. There is really all option available for all system.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg -
Hi, Here water and clouds few shots, multiple variation available for ocean and wave to covers most situation for color and wave calm to windy.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172585.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172586.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172587.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172588.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172599.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172600.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172602.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172603.jpgThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg

Hi Cowboy10uk,X graphics is completly new and exceed active sky graphics on many things, X graphics performance is same as FSX default and there is selection of resolution and format for own preference, ASX you can manage your clouds layer to limit and getting always stable framerate, I don't see any worst performance here. X graphics is behond sky and clouds, in fact, X Graphics have complete airports environment, It's the best I have seen yet on replacement in Fs, type of tarmac, taxi way etc in multiple variation selection, as well water ocean and wave are in multiple seclection, lightning bold you will be finally able to saw them more and "able to take screenshots", in fsx they appears so much quickly you can't even take a shots or saw them. There is much more variation then you have seen in video.X Graphics covers all sky tone, example for day sky, smoogy to more clear tone and tropical, available on most real world color, unlike what's you have see before in Fs, X graphics contains all gradual sky horizonvisilibty, this is means smooth horizon graduation and smooth visiblity transition with all mile for day, dawn, dusk, and works best with ASX without doubt. To have ASX at his full capability, ASX will require X graphics for many things, horizonvisiblity, skyscape, wx influenced and more with time to have the best accuracy for all condition.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg

HI, You might have better result if you uninstall and reinstall fsx ,after install sp1, some of our tester reinstalled fsx because of some corrupted graphics things after installation of sp1, which was way better. To be sure you defrag after is important.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg

HI ToMy Li,I am getting alot better performance with my duo core 2 some area have doubled in fps compare to release version, 20% or 30% increase overall. To be sure you test in cockpit not always external view with most - minimized view, this render all things..Don't use bloom, reduce traffic to leftslider level of radius to: small texture resolution 1mautogen to dense or medclouds draw distant to complete leftroad, ship to 10%ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg

HI Guys,SP1 have big improvment on performance, most users will be happy, or just make some slider lower that's you don't need... I recommend to disable bloom effect, increase alot of performance depend on system for sure.Ps:Remember fs2004 release frame rate was low with the previous fs2002 system market used for fs2004, all was needed was the patch for fs9, new system market release after a while to enjoy more fs2004 and new addons released with month, years etc.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg

Hi, -Yes all fsxe used on all shots and ASX generated weather data. it's writed in asx screenshots area "Graphical environmental textures by FSX Environment. Weather generation by Active Sky X"-Yes it will works with zinetek night env, they don't replace each others.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg

Hi,Q1: ASX generate the weather data only no custom clouds. FSXE improve all clouds, water etc.. and enhance as the same time ASX weather on visual and some aspect builded exclusive for ASX and works togheter, using any others then FSXE will broke nice feature compatibility with ASX and be step back, there is in total 20 custom enhancement category in FSXE. This is not like you have seen before, it's totally a new way builded and more and more ASX and FSXE will be required togheter especialy for FSX which was needed. Q2:there is no night light autogen in FSXEThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg
