Hi Stewart,
Would you be so kind to send me Bill's mod for the Cheyenne III/PA42?
Much appreciated!

Cameras for P3Dv4 similar to XCamera.
Egbert Drenth replied to himmelhorse's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
If you want to spend some money and have a few extras: EZDok: http://ezdok-camera.com/ Chaseplane https://orbxdirect.com/product/p42-chaseplane I have both a like EZDok better. On my system EZDok functions more stable (i.e. no crashes) -
Aircraft are shown on Flight Radar with a slight delay... I think that delay is 1 month, so you are looking to EKCH traffic when it still was open......
-
Ahhh... That explains my delay last Xmas at the airport 😄

I have basically the same system as you have, only I already have a 1080Ti. I'm pretty sure that replacing your 1060 with a 1080Ti will certainly increase your framerates. FSLabs (and other high-end add-ons) run very good on my system, but in 2560x1440 resolution. Nevertheless I'm confident that the 1080Ti also can manage UHD resolution. Question however is if you can get your hands on a (new) 1080Ti. Price wise is was/is a very good card and therefor popular. I guess you have to aim for a 2070 instead, or wait for this years GPU's

MilViz King Air B350i Imminent Release...
Egbert Drenth replied to Bohemond's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
That's what Milviz keeps telling us during the last 5 years. It must be a 'coincidence' that they release it now just after the announcement of FS2020. I made the huge mistake to buy the pre-release 5 years ago, and will never buy from Milviz again. -
On a default airport 😉

Egbert Drenth replied to Samaritano's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
Really? Such an extensive and praising post and it is your first post ever... and unsigned Sorry, but for me a bit too obvious 😂 -
Eaglesoft Citation XLS+ released for P3D v3
Egbert Drenth replied to Samaritano's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
AVSIM already did. The received a Avsim Goldstar Award. Oh wait, that is a review for a much older version. Apparently these days old reviews are being re-used for newer versions. -

Yeah... good comparision. You conveniently are forgetting that Navigraph support dozens and dozens of aircraft. So if you had adapted the standard and went for Navigraph and/or NavDataPro we didn't have to pay anything additionally. -
So.... what is the question 😉 Also comparing a Boeing with an Bus is like apples and oranges. Just pick the one which attracts you the most.

As stated in the UTL2 forum: "Version 2 is a free upgrade for all version 1 customers" So to me I don't mind it is called 'Version 2' instead of 'Power Pack'

Hi, Is there an issue with the forum performance? Since a week or so, the forum is extremely slow, like 15-20+ sec to open pages etc. Browsing from the Netherlands (NL) and from several locations. Egbert

I'm on the fence, but what are your thoughts about version 1.3? Are all the important bugs fixed by now? Knowing Carenado they won't release another patch (3 patches is already more then they would do normally)
-
Carenado's B120 is Out. Got it? What do you think?
Egbert Drenth replied to David Vega's topic in EMB120 P3D | FSX
? That is the conclusion you draw based on the fact they didn't consult you to check your wish list.... -
FS2Crew Ultimate Ground Crew X Released
Egbert Drenth replied to Simicro's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
Nice advertorial 😉 "And the most important, they has said that UGCX has a huge road map" No offense, but first see then believe. Besides that, it took FS2Crew a very long time to develop/release UGCX. Don't get me wrong: I like FS2Crew products very much but they don't have a track record yet regarding this type of products. -

Is there a specific reason only images are shown? (and not a video) -

New Orbx Central v4.0 now available to download
Egbert Drenth replied to Indy511's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
Ahh, didn't know that. Nice to hear. And the replacement order of textures (if more add-ons replace same texture) is defined in the add-on.xml? -
I don't have an answer for you, but an advise: Maybe ask this question in the specific Alabeo Aztec user forum. https://www.avsim.com/forums/forum/750-pa23-aztec-f-250-fsx-p3d/ Also a remark: Alabeo is not known/famous for their high fidelity flight models (and gauges/systems for that matter) Like Carenado (same Developer) they excel in aircraft models and texturing, i.e. the eye candy. (This is a general remark, they also have some exceptions where the flight model and gauges are quite good also)

New Orbx Central v4.0 now available to download
Egbert Drenth replied to Indy511's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
I don't think that is possible. What about (generic) texture replacements, like clouds, default airport textures etc. As for now, the original ones have to be overwritten inside the sim. -
No really, PMDG is having a sale!
Egbert Drenth replied to _Gladius_'s topic in The Bargain Hunter's Shack
Same here... Kinda fishy... Especially because PMDG almost never has a sale. And 22% for their 22nd birthday?!? What's that for a weird reason. I would be very cautious and only buy through the official url -
Like XP11? Also XP (or any likewise simulator) 'suffers' lower than average frame rates compared to regular games. (Flight) simulators will also ways struggle with performance since they try to replicate the real world dynamics etc.
