You actually have 4 options: 1. GNS530 (free) 2. PMS GTN 750 (free) 3. PMS GTN 750 (payware) 4. TDI GTN 750 (payware) So no further purchase is required if you want to use the first two options.

Maximum crosswind component in a real C152 is 12 knots. I would never attempt much more than 10 IRL.

Just updated and re-introduced myself to this one. Looks great in VR! Anyone else have the issue that the transponder stays on FL000 when in ALT mode regardless of your altitude?

Thanks for all the input! A 3090 is out of the question, as I’m not paying over $1,000 for a video card. So it’s between the 3080 ti and 6800 XT. I think I’ll try the 6800 and save the 300 for other upgrades (CPU, RAM, PSU.) I really appreciate your perspectives!

I posted this in the hardware forum, but since it is MSFS-specific hopefully it will be allowed here: I am looking to upgrade and am looking at the mid-high range GPUs. I have decided on a 3080 TI or a 6800 XT. They both benchmark about the same in MSFS but the 6800 is about $300 cheaper. Some have actually reported smoother performance in FS with the 6800. So it is the logical choice for value. BUT, DLSS is Nvidia only. I hear mixed reviews on the quality vs. performance benefit of DLSS. I would hate to have a card that didn’t support it if it was a game-changer. Also, I have discovered VR and love it. That’s actually the primary reason for the upgrade. Thoughts? Thanks!

I made this mistake as well. This version of the Bonanza only has 22 gals per tank and 3 gals is unusable (which is an error… the real Bo has 25 gal with 3 unusable.) Anyway, the engine will die when you hit 1/8 of a tank! (22/8=2.75) So don’t let that gauge fool you… 1/8 of a tank is empty!

Did you turn on the flight director? It's supposed to come on automatically the AP but doesn't. Will be fixed in the next update.

Bought it. Love it. Discovered the hard way that 3 gallons in each tank is unusable. Was cruising along when the engine died. But I had 1/8 of a tank of fuel! Oh wait… 25/8 = 3 something. So beware! 1/8 of a tank is EMPTY. Also, this pointed me to an error in the model. The tanks in the Carenado plane each only hold 22 gallons and 3 is unusable. They should hold 25 with 3 unusuable. So that makes the math 22/8 = 2.75. So you will DEFINITELY be dry at 1/8 with that bug. Doesn’t change the fact that I love flying it. Just know better than to head out with fuel in the yellow. 🙂

Maybe I can grab some numbers for you. Happen to have your POH handy? Since this is a marketplace aircraft there is no way to tweak it if it’s not, correct? She’s pretty. Unless it’s way off I may have to buy it anyway.

You actually have to click on the “camera” on the tablet. It’s confusing, as the cursor will turn to a hand anywhere on the tablet but only the camera dot works.

It is currently not simulated.
