ImagineSim KATL V3
Thanks! I have two files in the my traffic scenery folder, named BR2_KATL.BGL and BR2_KATL_CVX:BGL. Should I disable both?

ImagineSim KATL V3
The default KATL is not in the scenerey library, but Imaginesim is there (added manually).

ImagineSim KATL V3
I have a slight problem with this scenery P3D 3.1. It appears to be using the default afcad so that the default jetways are showing and the parking positions are wrong. It did solve it a few days ago with reinstall, but after deleting the scenery.cfg for an unrelated problem, the default jetways are back. I reinstall this time did not solve the problem. Is there a default afcad for KATL somewhere the scenery.cfg (could not find anything)? Also, is there a support forum for Imaginesim somewhere? I know they use Facebook, but I do prefer a forum for support related questions.

Can't get MyTraffic6 to work in P3D v3
After further testing, the NTDLL crash is back. Attempted a longer flight today, and after about 3 hours P3D crashed. Will run without MyTraffic until I get this figured out.

Can't get MyTraffic6 to work in P3D v3
I bought MyTraffic 6 today, and after a bit of trial and error, I finally got it to work (the entry number in simobjects.cfg was wrong). But started getting CTD with ntdll as the culprit. After disabling MyTraffic, the CTDs disappeared. Have anyone seen this in P3D 3.1? A google search told me that this was a problem in version 5.4, but haven't seen anything about this in version 6.

How much VAS do you have available on startup?
Ok, thanks! So 5-600 mb is about normal with some heavy scenery installed. I remember a few years back when all we cared about was FPS...
-
How much VAS do you have available on startup?
Yes, I know. Another topic on VAS... I just have short question for you. When you have just loaded up your 777, how much VAS do you see remaining? Tried to do a flight from KSFO to YSSY. Except for those airports, I have Orbx global base, vector and open lc for Europe enabled. I have about 500 mb remaining at the start, which drops down quite fast, so I will need to save and reload before take off. The same for the arrival, I save and reload just before the TOD, and again I start with about 500-600 mb remaining. I´m lucky if I make it off the runway before it´s game over... So, I just wanted to know what you guys are seeing to figure out if my value is normal or if something is quite wrong with my setup. Thanks

Anti collision lights issue
Yes, I'm aware of that. Used to fly the DA42, only strobes there as well. But I do know the pattern of the 737 and 777, and sometimes it's a bit off. But no big deal. That's correct for the 737 classic, but on the NG you will see strobe-beacon-strobe. Same on the 777. The only exception is the back strobe on the 737 which is not synchronized.

Anti collision lights issue
It does not depend upon FSP, it will be the same sitting on the ramp as 35 000 ft above the Atlantic ocean. Also, the strobes behave normally. It's only the PMDG 777 and 737 that I see this with, all my other add-on aircraft has the normal behavior both in FSX and P3D. But as I said in the first post, it's not a major issue, just curious why this happens.

Anti collision lights issue
I´m bringing this topic up again. I have the same problem in P3D, and deleting shaders did not help. Anyone seeing the same thing?

The 777 and the FlyTampa CYYZ - is it possible?
Did the following: Disabled the LC, reduce LOD radius to 3.0, and deselected most of the stuff in the configurator. So far it seems to work better.

The 777 and the FlyTampa CYYZ - is it possible?
A simple questions - have anyone here been able to complete a flight to FT CYYZ? I tried this evening with the lite texture pack, and I'm not able to land. I made save about 10 miles from the airport, and when loading it, I will run out of memory in about 2 minutes. It will start with 700 mb of free memory which goes fast towards zero. I know this a quite heavy scenery when it comes to memory, but I'm just curious if it's possible at all. I have Orbx global + vector and ASN. AI-traffic set to 30 %. (Prepar3D 2.5 btw) Can't wait for the 64-bit version...

P3D V2.5- Ohio-Class Sub/general underwater qs
We still need a proper submarine. What about a PMDG Los Angeles class submarine? That would have been something. After reading all of the Tom Clancy books (and a few other books featuring submarines), I've been wishing for a proper submarine simulator featuring modern subs.

[Beta Preview] NGX SP1d
Will it be possible to load en route winds and descend forecast winds like in the 777?

Problem installing - MSVCR110.dll missing
So after downloading for the entire day (I have slow line...), I was finally ready to install P3D. When installation is nearly complete, I get a windows failure message telling me something went wrong (the same one you will see with a CTD). Looking at the error log, it crashed because of a problem with MSVCR110.dll. The installation program itself does not close and it will complete the installation. When I try to launch P3D, I get an error message telling me that MSVCR110_CLR0400.dll is missing and the program closes. Anyone with some advice here? It could be some corrupt files in my download (I downloaded the files one by one, not the whole installer at once), but I hope I don't have to download it again and wait close to 8 hours for it to get done. EDIT: After some searching, I tried to reinstall Visual C++ 2010 without success. This is what is says in the error log (sorry it's in norwegian, but hopefully you will understand): Programnavn med feil: Prepar3D.exe, versjon: 2.5.12942.0, tidsangivelse: 0x54d283cc Modulnavn med feil: MSVCR100.dll, versjon: 10.0.40219.325, tidsangivelse: 0x4df2be1e Unntakskode: 0x40000015 Feilforskyvning: 0x0008d6fd Feil prosess-ID: 0xea4 Feil starttid for program: 0x01d0464944765e72 Feil programbane: E:\Prepar3D v2\Prepar3D.exe Feil modulbane: C:\Windows\system32\MSVCR100.dll Rapport-ID: 832fb1fa-b23c-11e4-a1e2-448a5b5e80d9 EDIT #2: I'm in the process of uninstalling all of the Visual C++ versions, and then reinstalling the ones required. Will report back. EDIT #3: Success! A reinstall of all Visual C++ versions (2010, 2012, 2013 both x86 and 64) seemed to be the trick.

New P3D User, Couple of Questions
For your first questions, ASN does not currently work with P3D 2.5. An update will be released shortly.

PMDG 777 is out for P3D!
I see a few posts here comparing the PMDG 777 with the Aersoft Airbus, and I want to make a few comments. The Aerosoft bus is, in my opinion, the best simulation of the A320-series to this date, but it is not on the same level as PMDG, and AS never intentended it be either. That is one reason for the difference in price to begin with. Also, PMDG is licensed by Boeing. I haven't seen anything to suggest that Airbus has licensed AS for their A320? That license does not come for free, and making the 777 available in P3D probably cost them a bit more then for the FSX-version. Maybe the biggest reason for the price is the promise of continued development including a 64-bit version when that time comes, for no additional cost. No promise from AS has been made on that subject (please correct me if I'm wrong). Yes, it's expensive, but in my opinion it's totally worth the price.

P3D2.3 and ASN Huge FPS drop
Is ASN supported in 2.3? I thought it still was only 2.2.

Excellent work PMDG
The layout looked quite similar to the Aurasim-app for the Dash-8 Q400, and they are working on an app for the 772LR. But I don't think its released yet.

Anti collision lights issue
This is a issue I have both with the 737 and the 777. The normal light pattern should be strobe - beacon - strobe, but from time to time, I only have the strobe lights illuminating. Looking at the plane from spot view, I will see the normal pattern for about ten seconds, then the anti collision beacon fails to illuminate for a few seconds before coming on a again. So, normal for about 10 seconds, then no beacon for about 5-10 seconds, then normal again. As I said, I have this issue with both the 737 and the 777, and as far as I can remember, it has been there since the release of the 737. A forum search did not come up with anything useful, so I might be one of the few around here with this issue. It is by no means a huge issue, I do fly from the cockpit, but I was wondering if there might be a solution to it?

Norway freeware - absolutely incredible
Has anyone tried this with the new ORBX LC for Europe?

Handling dynamics with redesigned FBW Sytems
I've been playing around with it after SP1 and to me it feels ok. I haven't flown the 777 in real life, so I tried to fly like I do with small airplanes (C172, PA34, etc.). For climb, I pitch for the required airpspeed, and then trim to relive of controll pressure and it performs just as in the cessna, it will maintain the airspeed, but you will see it pitch up and/or down if it's not trimmed for the correct airspeed. The same goes for leveling off. With the trim ref speed displayed on the PFD, trim for a different airspeed, and you will see the aircraft pitch up or down to get to that airspeed, but it will overshoot and undershoot for while until it stabilizes on the airspeed. For landings, I usually fly with the AT on, and the all I have to is to correct pitch to maintain the desired glide path, and I don't have any difficulties landing it. Just make sure you are stabilized above 500 ft, or else you will be making corrections all the way down to the runway and screw up the landing (most likely). I tried a few approaches with the AT off, and it works doing it like you would do in a Cessna; pitch for airspeed and power for glide path. With the trim ref speed on, trim for desired approach speed, and make small corrections with the throttle to maintain desired glide path. I must add that trimming in real life is easier than in the sim because you have the feel of the controll pressure. You will maintain altitude (or airspeed if in clb or des), and trim it until the point where you don't have to pull or push on the yoke.

Regarding issue number 2 (I have submitted a ticket): Try switching landing lights on and off, that will fix it.

Screen blurry- 15'' or 17'' screen laptop ?
Sorry to hijack your thread, but I have the similar issue as you have. The difference is that I'm running a fairly new computer (i7-i4770K and a GTX 760) with a 24" monitor with resolution of 1900x1080. Unless I zoom in, it's difficult to read some of the digits on the screens, especially the MFD. This is true for pretty much all the addons I have. Is there any settings I have missed? I have used a guide written by NickN on another forum, both for setting up FSX and Nvidia Inspector.
