  1. I found that pressing (P) Pause will also cure this sound issue. Iv'e been doing it for the last 2 years already. It does happen to me in the NGX as well. Cheers,
  2. Sooner or later, something will have to happen. Cant run on FSX for the rest of eternity. I'm just surprised that no one has been able to re-code the FSX engine. Unless it's blocked in some way? I bet it's easy said than done.. Just wishful thinking I guess. Cheers,
  3. I would also advise to check out the Air Canada 777LR DVD from Just Planes. I learned a lot from these dvd's and they take you through the whole flight.(Start to Finish). Its worth the investment if you learn certain things and apply it to the PMDG 777. (I apologize in advance if I wasn't supposed to mention other aviation products) Cheers,
  4. Try running the Ops center in admin mode. ("Right click, run as administrator") Cheers,

    She's alot to handle!

It's funny you mention that. I didn't think it felt normal at first when using non-derated takeoffs. I'm getting better at setting a 20% buffer as well. I purchased nice scenery, i want to use the runways! Still a rocket though! Cheers,
  6. Hello guys, I purchased the 777 last night and took it through a couple test flights. Let me tell you that I have A LOT of reading to do lol. Coming from the NGX, I was definitely not ready to jump right in. She’s a lot to handle and I was amazed how much power it has over the 737. It literally caught me off guard. I just wanted to say congratulations PMDG on a wonderful bird! I'm going to be enjoying the long hauls! Now… back to reading… since my first 777 test frame is already written off…… *Cough* hard landing *Cough* Cheers,
  7. I'm positive it's the same as any other software product. If you uninstall it and move it to the new PC, I wouldn't imagine there would be any issues. Cheers,
  8. Fantastic!. Makes it very realistic, great idea! I might have to try this with the 777 when I get her. I'm still in the NGX for now. Cheers,
  9. I also wanted to ask this same question. With regards to the acceleration itself, is the PMDG version coded differently to accommodate the nasty effects of blurry textures? For example, while using the time acceleration within FSX, the ground textures tend to get blurry and stay that way for the remainder of the flight. Any input on this would be appreciated. Thank you,
  10. +1 Doesn't matter what type of aircraft comes out of the PMDG production line, I will be there to purchase it. Cheers,
  11. I have been dealing with this for the last 5 years or so. It's something internal within FSX that cannot be disabled. The only way I got it to work properly is if I use TrackIR. It seems to talk with the tracking program and stays mostly stationary in a turn, during braking etc. Hope that helps, cheers,
  12. Now that's a very good price if you ask me! Tino
  13. It all started with Track IR4 about 4 years ago? I was still using FS9 at the time. The PMDG 747 and Level-D 767 were the aircraft that made me think twice about utilizing the VC. It's there, it's modeled, why not use it? I cant go back anymore. It's amazing to see how far development of aircraft and scenery has become. With the amount of detail in modern FS aircraft VC's and amazing artwork of some of the scenery designers, the VC allows you to get the full immersion of flying. In my eyes, it's the best way to get everything our of your hard earned cash. Cheers,
  14. You know, I think this is one of the best new features to be introduced within FSX. PMDG has raised the bar again! If anyone else is like me, I enjoy flights that are 1 – 2 hours in length. I really try and fly to airports with good sceneries that are close enough (distance wise). When I want to try a long-haul, I always have to schedule time within the month to allocate 8 – 10 hour day for the flight itself. This is usually due to the fact that I would like to get more use out of my add-on airports but I don’t usually get the chance to. This feature is a fantastic idea and is great for everyone. We can enjoy a CYVR – EGLL in a couple hours! I can’t wait! B) Cheers,
  15. Well, I had a nice chat with the girlfriend last tuesday. Told her once the 777 comes out, I will be stuck to the computer for about a week straight. She came back with, "Really? well you have to take me on vacation before then!". So... we are on our way to Hawaii soon. She kind of knew that a new PMDG product was coming... I did the exact same thing before the NGX rolled out. Thanks PMDG.. the 777 cost me an extra 4000$ lol.. Guys, word of advice: Let PMDG do the work, spend LOTS of time with the wife or girlfriend before the 777 gets released! It will help. Cheers,
  16. Same here! It must be new? Looks interesting.
  17. Here are some shorter routes which iv'e flown on before (in the real world): YYZ - YUL, AC77W YVR - YYZ, AC77L HND - ITM, NH772 FUK - NRT, JL773 KIX - OKA, NH773 NRT - CTS, NH772 NRT - ICN, KE772 LAX - DEN UA772 All really short routes. Plenty of flights to try in the 777. Cheers, Tino
  18. The NGX is amazing in all aspects! From the visual model, VC, Soundset, system intergration, It's a must have! I seriously cant wait to see what these guys can do with the 777. These 2 aircraft are all I need. Tino,
  19. 10$ Million US Dollars has never looked so good! I'd rather have this than cash! Tino
  20. Cool looking monitor! I would go for the Ipad personally. (If your looking for an external FMC alternative). Ipad can be used for many different functions and not limited to just a display for FSX. Ipad's usually go for 250 - 300$. In Canada anyway.. and can be put to good use with all the apps. Cool product though!
  21. That is one amazing shot! great angle! I see that airline at YVR everyday. with an A330 though...
  22. I have all Air Canada DVD's and I cannot be any happier with them! Great learning tool as well as for informational purposes. I think it would be awesome if PMDG released a "behind the scenes dvd or video". I would be up to purchase somthing like that! cheers, Tino
  23. I already have my PMDG 777 flight plans figured out. Once the FSDT YVR gets released, it will be: YVR - KIX (Air Canada, no NRT scenery yet so I use the Aerosim RJBB) KIX - HKG (ANA - Aerosim KIX - ImagineSim HKG) HKG - LHR (Cathay Pacific - ImagineSim HKG - UK2000 LHR) LHR - YUL (Air Canada - Uk2000 LHR - FlyTampa YUL) YUL - YVR (Air Canada - FlyTampa YUL - FSDT YVR) All these flight have over 7+ hour flight times. (minus the KIX - HKG leg) This will hopefully get myself fully comfortable with the 777. Really looking forward to it! My GF wont be happy so i better spend alot of time with her now.... lol Cheers, Tino
  24. I'm sure the night lighting will be just as good if not better than the NGX. I can't wait for that! Love my nightly long haul departures! Cheers, Tino
  25. I'm sure there would be issues if the 777 had winglets. Just imagine how many things those massive winglets could possibly hit.... The raked wing tips are awesome. Flying on an AC 777 LR and seeing first hand how beautiful it makes those wings look! Cheers, Tino
