  1. Are you pressing the correct LSK? One option is that you are attempting to put that restriction after MID instead of before and this is confusing the systemChris
  2. Hey Nameless, What was your Estimated Landing Weight? For Reverse - you have to check your hardware isnt overriding the keyboard commands. Cheers, Chris.
  3. Dear Nameless, Which hotfixes have you installed? Thanks Chris.
  4. Ensure Advanced Animations is selected in your Flight Sim's display settings Chris.
  5. If ATC have assigned a descent point earlier with a restriction - you can enter that into the FMC - which will move the T/D closer. It's quite rare to hear "Descend now, FL150 level SABER" - more common is "Descend when ready, FL150, be level by SABER" VNAV will stop at whatever the MCP altitude is set to - so if you are cleared FL100 to hold, set 100, engage VNAV, probably enter FL100 as your restriction at the holding fix. When you reach the holding fix - you'll enter ALT HOLD - and LNAV will turn you in the hold .... Then you can step down each level in the hold using LVL CH or V/S or whichever vertical mode you prefer - you could use a VNAV profile I guess - but it would be more work to enter all the info - you may as well use LVL CHNG. Hope this helps:) Chris.
  6. Sarah? This is avail for users to edit directly: info: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/342594-whos-figured-out-how-to-tweak-the-colour-options/page__hl__cockpit+light__fromsearch__1 Thanks Chris
  7. I would also be interested in exchanging some of more my Stirling for your brilliant paper productions (especially for the Jetstream). However, I guess you are quite busy doing things with a CFM based jetliner. Would be greatful for some news. Thanks. Chris.
  8. Did you take a look at the temperatures too? b737.org.uk states http://www.b737.org.uk/airconditioning.htm Is the heat exchanger faulty? Maybe write it in the logbook and have maint look it over before the next trip. ;) Cheers Chris
  9. Hi Sam, If you could post how you fixed it - then we won't more people in the same situation Thanks, Chris
  10. Patrick, Some more details will assist in giving you some support. What FS version are you running - do you have SP2/Accel installed? What OS are you running? What error comes up with the CTD? Thanks, Chris.
  11. This is a known issue: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/341571-pmdg-737ngx-issues-tracking-thread/ Chris.
  12. Can you post a screenshot of your overhead and main panel? It might help some members provide you with some (better) support. Thnx Chris.
  13. Confirmed issue: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/341571-pmdg-737ngx-issues-tracking-thread/ Chris.

  15. Hi John, The PMDG menu should not be needed on the NGX - it's all accessed through the CDU - hit MENU and then the PMDG options/pages are on the right side of the MENU page. Hope this helps, Chris.
  16. Josh, I don't think many of the PMDG team are in bed to be fair to them, even if they are, their contractors working on the server and security are working on fixing this issue. If the estimate for the servers being up again is in a few hours - then I guess many of them are in bed not because it is night time, but because it is a quiet time for them, and there is nothing for them to do. For instance, facebook and forum updates continue, even though it is 3am for many of the team. It's unfortunate some timezones have been affected more than others, but be assured the servers will be "up" as soon as they can be. Please try and remember the fault doesn't lie within PMDG - they didn't choose for this to happen, or for it to inconvenience you and those of you in similar timezones. Rgds Chris.
  17. Marcel, It is included with the product. Thnx Chris.
  18. Standard range for the -900 (MTOW 79840kg version) is 2060nm Standard range for the -800 (MTOW 70535kg version) is 1990nm Winglets obviously extend the range, as do the ER versions of both. Hope this helps :) Chris.
  19. Fantastic. Love the attention to detail. Then again - I should probably stop being suprised. Attention to detail seems to be exactly what you guys do best. Chris.
  20. Greg, The manuals have been revised slightly - removing some of the security aspects (flight deck door operation, emergency equipment locations etc). That said, they are the exact manuals that airlines would distribute - they even come from a printer that specialises in aviation documents directly to you. It includes some details on weather radar, ACARS, D-ATIS etc - which are not modelling in the initial version of NGX. Hope that answers your queries - they are exceptionally comprehensive, and brilliant quality and value. If you have any more questions - feel free to ask them. Chris.
  21. Hi George/Ryan/etcWill the load manager allow us to make the aircraft out of trim for example? Will we just simply imput a passenger figure, baggage weight and it outputs a ZFW and ZFW/CG or do we have more say in where things are loaded? Can we make the aircraft tail heavy for example? What about takeoff calculations? Will we be able to "ACARS" off the figures and get a reply - obviously calculated within the simulation - or are we going to need to stick with TOPCAT for a little while longer? Thanks in advance,Chris.
  22. My understanding is this would be a momentary display - triggered by maybe moving the throttles or by a key press - I don't think that PMDG would impliment a perminent display on this product for this feature...but who knows - guess we'll all know in a little while. I personally think it's a great idea - well done Eric :)C
