  1. Hi Bert! Would love to try the GTN750 in my 850. jpmouse@ix.netcom.com Thanks in advance. I appreciate your spirit of sharing your expertise JPMouse
  2. I seem to be able to eliminate the click spot problem by cycling between full screen and windowed after I load the aircraft. May work for you .
  3. Are you near a fuel location? That will prevent door operations sometimes in FSX. Dunno about P3D.
  4. Loved your videos of Denver to Eagle. I posted the link on FB so folks who don't know that flight simulation is not a video game might be inspired to join our merry band of flight fanatics. Enjoyed every minute of them. Going to watch the short flight to Aspen right now. Thanks mate!
  5. I have many of the Carenado lineup and I think they are good value. I think the C337H is one of their best. I love the C185F (with the Stollie FDEinstalled) because I do a lot of bush flying. Currently the TBM850 is quite fun to fly, although like most payware in this price range, I wish the avionics went beyond to include real flight planning. The A36 and B200 are also favorites of mine. The older C182Q is the earliest release that I really liked. I know what to expect from Carenado and I don't bemoan the fact that they will never match the quality of the Real Air Dukes or the A2A C172. The aircraft from their sister company Alabeo are real bargain beauties for analog aficionados. That is my take for whatever it is worth. Patience is my friend as I have bought all but two of my 15 Carenados during sales.
  6. click the inner FMS knob just like you do in the FSX default GPS. Enter the waypoint/VOR/Airport and then press the ENT key on the control unit twice to accept the entry. Took me a while to figure this out too.
  7. I use DX10 mode most of the time. Only when I am using an aircraft that will not show correctly in DX10 do I switch to non-DX10 mode
  8. Bob, I have no idea what is causing your problem, but, for whatever it is worth - I have had strange instances where an aircraft will get stuck on an engine .wav and the solution for me was to hit the "Q" key to mute and then back on and it would correct the problem. Probably not the solution you were looking for, but it worked for me. Cheers JP
  9. has anyone accomplished putting A2A Shockwave lights on this puppy?
  10. Hope someone can do this. I really like this livery!
  11. OK, Thanks. I'll have to learn how to convert. I did it once before but have forgotten how.JP
  12. Anyone know of any that are available?
  13. Sad to hear. I guess that ends my relationship with Carenado for a while as I have all of your FS9 Aircraft. If I ever switch to FSX I will return. I wish you the best. Your aircraft have provided me with countless hours of entertainment and will continue to delight for quite a while. Thanks again.JPMouse
  14. Much thanks to you and Frank as well. I'm sure it will work. Can't try it for a couple of weeks as I'm heading to Texas on vacation. (Yahooooo!)Rodger aka JPMouse
  15. Wow! Thanks for sharing this , Frank. It works great on the Amphibian. does anyone know what parameter to adjust that will lift the wheels (front & Back) out of the tarmac? They are just slightly sunken as if sitting in muddy earth. Minor visual annoyance but she flies and takes off and lands on land and water with no problems with bounce. Steering on the ground is right on now as well. My thanks to Carenado for all their help as well.Rodger
  16. Thanks for the tip. I contacted them and ditto - I got mine sent to me as well.

  19. I made a donation to AVSIM in early November and was checking to see if you received it when I noticed that your acknowledgements for November and December donations contains exactly the same names. Strange...is it possible tht something is awry with your system? Thought you would like to know.As I am a long time and frequent user of AVSIM I feel that it is my responsibility to support your great site efforts to serve the flightsim community, so I am not looking for your thanks but merely want to be sure that you received the donations that I make. Thanks and Happy New YearRodger C.
