64 bit sim....

Ryan, there's a setup menu where you can start with engines on or off. It's somewhere in the menus, sorry I can't remember off the top of my head at the moment but it's there.

Reading through these pages, I think many of you will be disappointed... ...basically, it would seem they are working on something else than the above. My vote and logical choice would have been the 747 V2...but that's just me :wink:

Customers want eye candy, the sweeter the better. Customers want variety, the more the better. Laminar isn't into eye candy (ask them about environment mapping using cube maps). Laminar can't do too much about variety, although the lack of new developers to the simulator (at this stage of the game) is alarming. ...so to answer the OP's question, sure, if you build it (quality), they will buy it. We're desperate! :lol:

I just had to revisit Nice before moving on. This time in the Carenado Caravan.

My European tour continues with a flight from Nice to San Remo and back. Lack of OSM at San Remo shows the difference in scenery realism.

Brian, I think you're good to go. Like Vincent said, download the demo and get a feel for the sim.

Continuing the European tour. Flying over the Bremen scenery from simheaven. World2Xplane enhanced scenery. The aircraft used is the Alabeo Piper Tomahawk II.

I got it from simheaven. Looking at other files I've downloaded from simheaven, many contain only .ready files. I have no idea what could have caused this. I didn't even look in these folders before having problems. Can G2XPL cause this type of overwriting? I tried to convert some Caribbean scenery that didn't turn out so well. Apart from that, I'm clueless here. World2Xplane maybe?

I have a download of Khania and in the Earth navdata folder the following three files are included; +35+023.dsf.ready +35+023_HD2.dsf.ready +35+023_SD.dsf.ready With all three files having the .ready extension, which one will be used?
