  1. Same here John, I start it before running X-Plane and it works fine. I have not installed pilotview, so I cannot comment on it. The plugin might be having problems with 10.30.3 maybe?
  2. Vincent is correct, this will be the HD version for XPX.
  3. Did you try to get help from the Flight Factor support forum?
  4. TrackIR should be running before you start XPX. This is the only thing I can think of as mine was working fine with 10.25 and works correctly with 10.30.3
  5. ...with the added bonus of World2Xplane, it's 'no contest'. However, I can appreciate the lure of the other sims. Take for example, A2A's brilliant Cherokee, we don't have any study level GA aircraft to match. With only a handful of developers, we're not likely to see one any time soon either. :(
  6. Well, the next in-line for Carenado (X-Plane) will be the Cessna CT206H Stationair.
  7. Hi Stekeller, I'm happy to see you guys are moving forward and continue to improve your 747. If I may, there are two things of utmost importance (to me at least) to your success if you are not making a study sim. 1) Textures! These need to be on par or even better than the competition. I'm happy to hear you are upgrading the cockpit but the exterior also needs some loving . Have you thought of hiring MCPhat for exterior textures? I'd buy livery packs from them for sure. 2) Realism of the flight dynamics. You seem to have covered this area extremely well according to users who purchased your aircraft. Hand flying even the heavies should be easy to do. Looking at my short list, you guys are on the right track to success. Keep up the good work.
  8. No they don't. I believe the downloads from April of 2104 onward have the mesh included.
  9. I agree, Carenado is a classy company. I'm certainly glad they decided to support X-Plane users by converting their aircraft. Dan Klaue is their X-Plane man and he handles support over at the org. Maybe Avsim can offer them an X-Plane forum here? Or, maybe they have?
  10. John is usually quite active on the boards. He's been absent lately and we all know what that means...he's probably very busy at the moment  ...well, I'm hoping anyways.
  11. Scenery from simheaven and World2Xplane.
  12. I enjoyed it for sure. Good choice of music, well done!
  13. Hi Vincent, Ok, so it's not the same guys that made VoX ATC. Still very good news as it looks to be working decently. Let us know your impressions and comments when you've been able to put it through it's paces.
  14. J, the Cessna must be trimmed for takeoff. Once you reach 60 knots, this aircraft practically lifts itself off the runway. This plane just wants to fly. So there is something definitely wrong with your setup. Prop and mixture lever full forward, slowly push in throttle forward to it's max, steering using the rudder pedals to stay on center line of runway. At 60 knots, gently pull back on the yoke and off you go.
  15. Hi j, I don't think you're to blame, it's more than likely your setup. What aircraft are you flying, did you calibrate the joystick and are all the axes recognized in X-Plane?
  16. Hi Gilberto, I'm not certain why you don't get clouds below 18k feet. Did you try getting real weather where you know what the cloud base is so you can compare?
  17. Cloud shadows were there before but so subdued they were basically unnoticeable, you needed to tweak art controls to actually see them. I do believe that John is working on getting shadows to work for his add-on. He even had the clouds moving at one point. I'm looking forward to any development news from him...he's been awful quiet lately...
  18. Hi jscott, What Cessna are you flying? Also, the mixture needs to be full forward on takeoff. Same goes for the prop lever, full forward. Slowly increase the throttle on your takeoff roll and gently pull on your yoke when you approach 60 knots. Once airborne and at safe altitude, retract flaps and adjust prop, throttle and trim to maintain a steady climb or level flight. I hope this helps a little, cheers
  19. Yes, run the installer and click on "Update X-Plane". At the bottom of the next page, tick the box that says "check for betas as well as updates." You'll then get the beta.
  20. Yep, this one is nearing completion. If you like FlyJsim's work this one will be a must have. As an incentive, they're discounting (heavy) the 727 suite.
