  1. Sorry 32GB memory...oops. and maybe a 1 gig sata disk for data. They have this config for a 2080TI, but not the 3080, the price is a little crazy. I priced a Digital Storm 32GB, 1 TB ssd and 3080..it was approx. $3500
  2. I only need 32K memory and 1tb SSD..this config is not available yet.
  3. I have priced out various configs on different manufactures. I believe Alienware is competitive if not cheaper. I'm still waiting for the right price on a PC with a 3080card.
  4. What makes you think Alienware is configuring systems with the new cards? I waiting for the 3080 before I buy my next computer.
  5. If you haven't already looked, there's some beginning stuff at https://www.msfsaddons.org/ Also a free Aerosoft airport at https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/155563-for-free-airport-paderbornlippstadt-for-microsoft-flight-simulator-released/
  6. I ran into a similar problem when I changed my MS password. You have to be logged into MS before MFS will work.
  7. I set pause to one key , "p", and it seems to work fine. There are several types of pauses.
  8. Much of the Sim is hidden in c:/Windows/winapps. That folder normally inaccessible, but you can change the security settings to look inside.
  9. I simply mapped pause to "P". Seemed self-evident the best answer. The Pause key didn't work for me either.
  10. ahh, sorry, I am not familiar with gamepass. I can pin the the sim to the task bar, but I cannot enable properties,
  11. It should be easy, I know, but where is the location of mfs, exe, or whatever it's called. The installation did not create a desktop icon. Doesn't appear to be in program files. Also do I need to run the program as administrator? Thanks
  12. Ooooo.Still downloading msfs. I'll check it out when it finally finishing downloading..its been several hours, but it is working.
  13. Somehow it says that my account does not allow access to the market place. I don't know how this is supposed to work. I am logged in to AVsim. Any help?
  14. Where is this plane available? I went to the Carenado web site and found nothing for FS2020
  15. I think It's supposed to run this way. You have to use chaseplane's keyboard inputs that are setup in preferences in Chaseplane. I think you also have to re-set up your joystick buttons and hat in P3D as well. It's confusing but once you figure it out it works fine. Setting up views on your number pad is confusing also, but there's a nice YouTube video somewhere that shows you how it all works.
  16. Rikoooo has a nice DR400 Robin as well as many other freeware planes. They may live up to the standard of payware, but are worth a try. They do have modest GPS's. Not many GA planes have a FMS. https://www.rikoooo.com/downloads/category/51
  17. I remember there was a way to open a second window with [ key, drag it to a second monitor, and create a wide screen view from in the cockpit. You had to adjust the second window and line up the cockpit, which wasn't easy, but then you somehow sync the windows. So when you went back to view one and rotated the view, the second window would move at the same time in a coordinated way. I know this has been discussed ages ago, but I forget how to do it and a preliminary search didn't give any results. Does any know how to do this? Thanks
  18. Does MS flight support muliple monitors? And how is this done? Is it one view stretched across both monitors or 2 separate views (as in FSX)? Thanks Mike Sorry for muliple post
  19. Does MS flight support muliple monitors? And how is this done? Is it one view stretched across both monitors or 2 separate views (as in FSX)? Thanks Mike
  20. I did some more testing. It seems like the second panel (or side view for the secod monitor) is saved on top of the main panel. If I drag the panel on top to the second monitor, everything works. I couldn't see the main panel under the second panel before I dragged the second panel to the second monitor, and thought it wasn't active. One drag to the second monitor is not too painful. When I tried it and crashed the plane, the restart used both monitors as I had set it up. Figure that out!Mike
  21. That utility sounds like just what I was looking for! I'm downloading it now and will try it soon. I know I'm not crazy that FSX can't keep track of this. Thanks!![Are you reloading the Saved Flight? ie Clicking on Saved Flights? It sounds like you may be loading the basic flight for that aircraft rather than one from your Saved Flight file. I keep a variety of Saved Flights- various airports/runways,weather,time of day etc and any one of these will load correctly with triple monitors in FS9. I assume same for FSX.Only exception is that if there is any Zoom on a Saved Flight monitor, it will reload one decimal point lower and need to be adjusted. Occasionally a view edge may need to be dragged a 1/16" to move it exactly to monitor edge upon reloading.ARNO its a saved flight. It takes me to the runway and time of the flight that I saved. Is it just FSX?
  22. Hi, Can someone help with this dilemma? I have a dual monitor setup. I have loaded a flight, open a window, set the window to the proper cockpit view, drag it to my other monitor, resize it, setup both monitors so they align correctly and save the flight. When I reload the flight, it seems I have to go through the whole process again. Is there a way to save the flight and have it come up on both monitors all setup as I left it? I haven't tried many other ways to do this, but I would sure love to avoid this extra unneccessary work.ThanksMike
