  1. Sorry I missed the updates listed for the g1000 and g3000. How about the plane mods...are they working?
  2. I'm mainly interested in the G1000 and G3000. Are they working in the new version? How about the Mods for the planes, like A36 turbo, 152, etc?
  3. So Just flight is supposedly coming out with both planes, but the turbo arrow probably first. Which one to get? The turbo seems not that different from the PA28, which is great plane. It will be discounted though for owners of the PA28. How does the Warrior fit into the GA lineup between the Pa28, the A36 and the Mooney? What’s your preference?
  4. A Slightly different approach. Fly tourists on a ride through Arches National Park, Utah. Download the Arches scenery from flightsim.to, Take off from Canyonlands Field Airport, KCNY in your H135 Helicopter. Follow route 191 to the entrance to the park and hang a left to enter the park. Follow the roads and hover around the amazing scenery. Finally, head northwest towards the airport and land in one of Heli spots. A very satisfying ride and only takes 30-45 minutes. I guess this could be a bush trip too.
  5. I don't understand this talk about money..no developer is getting rich developing for MFS.
  6. I think the old sim FLY had better atc, as I recall.
  7. I think this is precisely what the dev had in mind...and it does have a definite basis in reality. Not much chance any of us could really fly the real thing.
  8. I didn’t buy a 3080 to slow it down. It also has a loud fan noise in graphic applications as well...that doesn’t mean I’m not going to use them. It just the price of doing business , but I think it should be water cooled if it gets that hot. My corvette has a mode to open up the butterfly valves and wake up the neighborhood. I actually paid for that..hehe.
  9. My 3080 fan is loud when I run Msfs... very annoying. Computer is dead quite otherwise.
  10. What’s your vector, Victor? Sorry, couldn’t resist.
  11. I wish you could zoom away from the plane, but not change the zoom of the landscape. Not possible in external view, but maybe in drone.
  12. If I recall. It’s the engine switches that turn on the FADEC. Not at all obvious.
  13. I didn’t know there was a 4.0a update. What’s changed? I only have 4.0
  14. When I logged in they asked for my pin. Did you also need that?didn’t even remember I had one.
  15. Absolutely you must relogin to your Microsoft account. That fixes the insert disc problem too.
  16. I tried the gns 750 in another plane. I think I had a significant FPS hit. I didn’t test it very much however. Has anyone else noticed this or can confirm this? My observation was not scientific.
  17. I think you need to update the sim first by going to the Microsoft store and then starting the sim. The sim does not always do this automatically. This may be obvious, but I think if it's not done, it can cause problems. I once updated only through the sim and had problems.
  18. I tired this GPS, while very advanced, I feel it had a major effect of my fps. Has anyone else had this problem?
  19. So I may have already asked this, but is this compatible with Lord of the Rings scenery at Flightsim.to?
  20. 2nco, Mountain air airport on top of a mountain and beautiful scenery and mod. I also like KCDk, George Lewis airport. Relatively short runway and nice airport at flightsim.to. Also the Scillys mod has a tiny runway as well.
  21. What happens if you only disable some options, the ones you don't normally use? Is there still a slight gain? I'm trying this as I like to keep the weather tab available.
  22. Yep you cannot independently zoom the cockpit view and the external view. For some reason they are linked. Very annoying. I really wish they had separate controls
  23. I am using linear joystick settings. My point is that the stall warning only works with a lot of up trim. If the trim is neutral, the stall warning does not go off and the plane quietly descends. I don’t believe this is the way it actually works, but I don’t know that for sure. When I am landing I usually have the plane in neutral trim so I never hear the stall horn. Seems wrong to me.
  24. So I experimented with various stalls in the PA28. First, I tried an accelerated stall by pulling hard on the yoke with power on. The plane stalls and drops a wing, but there is no stall warning. However if I set the trim up, there is an audible stall warning. Can this be right? Then I tried a power off stall. Gear down, I pull hard on the yoke...The plane sinks, but never actually stalls and no stall warning and the plane maintains about ~ 60 kts or so in a ~ 1000 fpm descent. I think if put in lots of up trim, then there is a stall warning. How is this supposed to work? What triggers the stall horn to go off? I'm trying this as I get no stall warning when landing...the plane just drops onto the runway.
