Hi Thank you for your assistance! I tried changing the entry as you suggested however it still didn't work. However, I did manage to get it working by manually installing the SimConnect modules thanks to the explanation in this thread.. http://www.avsim.com/topic/474606-p3dv25-do-i-need-simconnect-fsuipc/ In case anyone else faces this situation, use the above entry in your DLL config and make sure the simconnect modules are installed. PDFkneeboard is such a great tool, it allows me to view my flight plan and charts without ever leaving the cockpit.

Has anyone got PDF Kneeboard working in P3D V2.5? I have installed as per instructions in the Modules folder, and edited the P3D DLL config file as follows: <Launch.Addon> <Name>PDFKneeboard</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>.\modules\pdfkneeboard.dll</Path> <Commandline/> </Launch.Addon> However I can't see it in the Add On menu. Can anyone help??

I'm hoping one day we'll see raleygh scattering in P3D. Its the scattering of light which makes x-plane look so real.

Since switching to P3D last year, I'm really missing the J41. Might we see it supported soon?

Hey GuysAny tips on the best way to arrange the fans to push/pull the air through the case?

Would the H series give better temps than a good air cooler like the Noctua NH-D14?

I am also looking to do this soon, a lot of people get up to 4.5/4.6 with this chip. As long as its stable and your temps are good then you are safe.You will need a good aftermarket cooler:If you are going for air cooling the Noctua NH-D14 has good reviews.For watercooling, you could look at the corsair H80/H100.You will also need a case with good airflow, the HAF X or Corsair 650D get good reviews on here.

Re: the case, I like both the Corsair 650D & the Antec 900 (provided I can disable the blue LED fans!) - which one is best? Or are they both pretty much the same!

Great replies, thanks so much!!! The reason I was considering the pre overclocked bundle is that I have only attempted it once and didn't get very far. If I OC the CPU, would I also need to adjust any of the RAM settings or just the CPU multiplyer & voltage?

As I understand, Engine Anti Ice & Wing Anti Ice should be used for all ground operations when OAT < 10C & Visable Moisture.Same for EAI in the air, not sure about wing anti-ice though in the air.

IMHO they produce a better, brighter image compared to the matte screens.
