  1. This isn't quietness. I think Robert has fallen off the face of the planet. But I agree with you. Quietness from the team means they're working. Or they're just laughing at those of us (me included) drooling for the T7.
  2. Just delete the frequency. It will start to automatically tune frequencies again.
  3. I had an issue with activating the 744 a while ago but I was typing the wrong number (the authorization number rather than the order number). Typed the right number after several times of typing the wrong number and it worked. The Previous Orders page of my PMDG account shows this: Order # Status Order Total Order Date XXXXXX Processed $134.98 12/1/2010 (X=numbers) That is the only number you need. Sometimes a diagram showing something rather than just a description works. Perhaps that the reason you can't activate the 744.
  4. I assume that the computer you are trying to active the product on has an active internet connection? Ensure that your firewall is off before you try to install the product. After that I would restart your computer (may or may not help. Just a suggestion). Are you positively sure that you are typing everything correctly? I do make typos in passwords and usernames sometimes.
  5. Adam, I think this thread will help you out: http://forum.avsim.n...pmdgoptionsdll/. About refunds, they don't give refunds for downloaded software.
  6. After re-reading your first post I take it you've registered at support.precisionmanuals.com to send a support ticket right? Check your spam folder for the email. PMDG Support (from what I've heard) is better than some other companies out there.
  7. I think the email/password is the one you used at the time of purchase. If that doesn't work, then it's the new one. I don't think I'm helping much.
  8. Log into your PMDG eCommerce account. Click on View Previous Orders. The order number for your 747 is the number you use when validating the order in the setup.exe. Make sure that you are typing the email you used to buy the 744 and the password are correct.
  9. Select the waypoint below the discontinuity and insert the waypoint into that discontinuity.
  10. Darn. I forgot to say happy birthday. Happy birthday.
  11. TAT is a temperature that is dependent on mach speed. SAT (as seen on the progress page of the FMS) is the temperature (uncorrected) at the current flight level.
  12. Is there any option to change that from meters to feet? If I was landing and running out of runway I wouldn't be so conservative with the reversers...
  13. MTW (max takeoff weight) run for the -200LR is about 9,000 feet. The MD-11 requires about 10,000 feet fully loaded to takeoff. Landing distance depends on different things. I wouldn't take those two to an airport that doesn't have a runway longer than 6,000'. Look at it this way, BA flies their 747 (and I think their 777 if the 744 is not available) daily LHR-PHX-LHR. If I remember correctly Sky Harbor only has one runway (there's more than one) that is 10,000'. So if that runway is not available, they have to work with runways that are less than 10,000'.
  14. I think that is only possible with using the mouse to click on the respective clickspot.
  15. Press the "/" button. That will fully extend the speedbrakes in the air and fully extend the spoilers on the ground.
  16. Why can't we wait until the T7/744 are released to continue the requests. Would seem that the development team would have some extra time to choose new aircraft to model at that time.
  17. The whole "a real man doesn't go around" thing is wrong. I do hope that a pilot worth his/her salt puts their egos aside, goes around and shoot the approach again. A go-around may take a few extra minutes but look at it this way. You, your crew, and your passengers go home to their families and there is no multi-million dollar smoking hole in the ground.
  18. A.J., that is probably the best thing I've read in this thread. Just grab a beer (or a soda if you're like me) and go fly. How hard is that?
  19. Now that I've reinstalled FSX, would second the VC pictures. I really don't give a crud about the external model (that is if it's using the DL or UA (bring back the tulip!) liveries.
  20. Begging isn't going to get them to release pictures any faster. So in the meantime, why not satisfy your need with real photos?
  21. Alex, why not just go to YouTube, airliners.net, or jetphotos.net? There are numerous photos of the T7 there.
  22. Hydraulics I think are similar. Pneumatics would have to be similar. Flight controls are different. The T7 has partial fly-by-wire.
  23. ATC expects you to fly at 250 knots or below. If your climb speed is greater than 250, you need to tell ATC to get clearance to go faster than 250. Now, if they say no, tell them that according to federal regulations you are the pilot in command and operating your aircraft safely and legally within reason, of course...
  24. But as Raven said, how many of these threads are actually on-topic or utterly pointless?
  25. I think they are/were having problems with the site. Some of the documentation in the download section were dead.
