  1. I'm having throttle/mixture/prop issues, so for me it's unusable (Saik. Pro Throttles for twin set up. FSXA/Win7). I'm asking for a refund. There is no passenger area modeled also. The sounds are OK, but a little home studio remixing would be advised. The textures are decent, but not as good as others. It has a real radial engine start up procedure that has to be followed, and you have to manage the engine correctly... Something I really enjoy.. but there are some who don't read the manual, and, well, you know. The "outside views" don't seem to work correctly with 1.8 version of EZDok... but then again, I spent 2 minutes actually flying it, and two days trying to work out my throttle/mixture/prop problems. 40 bucks is not allot of money in the first world, but it would be nice if it actually worked. So to sum up; 1.) You may have to configure multi hardware systems, add on software , and install Microsoft C++ from multiple years... and it may or may not work 2.) It's a Cockpit only model. Video makers who include pax views.... SOL. I am extremely disappointed. I was about to invest heavily in some Alaska scenery for my float plane phase of simming.. now I will have to look elsewhere for an AC. The irony is, I have three Milviz planes, and only the free one works. (P38)
  2. Not for FSX. If the plane is ever really finished, at least Milviz can brag about how long it took to build... "/deep movie preview voice; In a world of King Air's, only ONE took 10 years to complete..." I gave up on Milviz.. I have three Milviz planes.. only the free one works. (Ka350i, Otter, P38)
  3. I just installed REX, and have to say... the weather engine is disappointing. Thanks to OP for the info. Maybe the next Active Sky can crush it with better clouds and colors.. runing just one program instead of three seems better (and cheaper).
  4. SOUND- It can be done right with constant V props.. everyone uses the wrong coding.
  5. Mr Stolle asked for it to be taken down some time ago. Anyone still interested in the TC mod can PM me.
  6. Thanks everyone!! I have a tube of this flight..but not nearly as good as the camera shots (or the actual flight). One day I'll invest in some real video software. Video Link
  7. Nice Shots... but the plane kinda had a fishing lure feel with that livery.
  8. My New Mooney.. Really good plane, even if it is a little slow.
  9. The numbers I got were from the engine manufacture. I've been outa the loop for bit, and now I'm trying the B58.
  10. Ok, about config'ing the Saitek throttles; DON'T install the Saitek drivers OR software... through allot of paint and suffering, I tracked all my headaches to this. What I did, and they work GREAT! - Plug in your first controller, let windows do it's thing. Restart. Plug second one in, then start FSX and config your controllers like normal. Don't forget to calibrate each one. Do not upgrade the drivers, as windows will dload the Saitek drivers, and you will have to start all over again. Done. Win7/FSX Gold/DX10
  11. Hi Les. Sorry, but I gave up on the C404, and it's parked in my collection of "looked good at the time" hanger. Hope you figured out RE1.4 - It's a great add on for pistons.
  12. The little commander is a pretty sweet plane. Nice shot!
  13. Convection! Haze and low clouds early morning. Rolling clouds. Differing color due to thickness. Wow!
  14. win7. I glanced at those items, thank you. so far, i've been able to get FSUIPC to smooth things out. It's a real change to have throttles... particularly with duel/multi engines. Syncing t-props, or setting take off and landing power settings... completely changes the airplane.
  15. Well i got off on the wrong foot... I just plugged them in and set up the axis in FSX, did a calibration... then yelled at the screen for about 8 hours .... one or two levers would not go all the way down, or all the way up. Tried working with FSUIPC, and that made things worse... SOOOOooooo... uninstalled the windows downloaded drivers, unplugged them, and restarted. Download the three programs from saitek (Drivers, FSX plug in, Software), and installed the drivers first.. THEN plugging in one throttle... restarted. Installed the software and plug in. Still same problems, but this time.. FSUIPC was able to calibrate with no problems... and now they work... I do get some "jiggies" however... and that... turns out... will blow your engines on the V2 Piston duke in a long flight. so now im about to try and smooth that out. any and all advice welcome.
  16. The Pilot Store has them in stock, and shipping... I had an order for two of them for over a year now, and mine came in last week. I'm now in the fight of my life trying to get them to work. (Twin engine set up, FSX Gold)
  17. Excellent as always HLJ. Funny thing about photo real.... I've noticed the Measles like spread of gas mines/pumps just about everywhere in the US.
  18. 1.) Pick a realistic GA Aircraft (Single Pilot Cert. Only) that can carry you and your family/friends to all the away games of your favorite team. 2.) Plan to arrive at least three hours before game time. 3.) Use only the plane you picked for first flight for all flights. 4.) Use real weather. Use real time (no slewing). Flight can be flown after the game with historic weather. 5.) IFR or VFR. If VFR, stick to all the VFR limits, including restricted air space rules, MOA's, etc. 6.) Post Pics and flight plan in the gallery after the flight. 7.) Airport should be as close to the stadium as possible. 8.) Return flight next day or after game. My first flight will be Washington Redskins vs. NY Giants, Sep 25th @ 1pm EST. Because the Mid Atlantic is such a cluster, most, if not all of my flights, will be IFR. I have a London game this year too, so that is a major trip. Not sure who I would drag along.. Consider who you would take, and the realistic probability that they would go.. this is not meant to be akin to a "Virgin Atlantic" comfort trip, but something you can own and operate. With that in mind, I have three planes in mind for me; Duke Turbine or TBM 850 (The Car). PC-12 (The Mini Van), or the KA-200/350 (The bus). First trip plan: 22,000 ft, IFR. Wheels up @ 8am. KHEF. CSN. LDN. MRB. EMI. PTW. SBJ. KTEB
  19. This one is the one I use, very very good! (freeware, with a "Plus" version with a very small donation). Updates throughout the year for both versions. http://hawaii-photoreal.com/
  20. Well if RA could do it, then everyone else can as well. V2 even has rain on the side windows. Even the sound changes when it becomes sleet or ice. Expensive; better planes get better money. I didn't even flinch for RA and Milviz $40-70 asking price. I have hundreds of planes in the hanger... Car TBM, and RA v2 dukes have the most hours, with the dukes winning out by a mile. When the weather is bad, you can see it and hear it with the Dukes.. and you feel like your in the weather, rather then just watching it.
  21. Thank you... I should add that the pop ups can be added without changing the motor in any way for those who want original performance.
