It could be that these following permissions are automatically added to each submission on FlightSim.to but it doesn't look like a lot of freeware authors like the idea of their work getting changed and/or distributed out of their control. And I can't see MS/Asobo including an asset they don't have completely own, 100% If you're familiar with FlightSim.to then you're noticed these permissions in the asset description. I looked at a ramdom sampling of airport sceneries only. Upload Permission You are not allowed to upload this file to other sites under any circumstances. Modification Permission You are not allowed to modify or improve my file under any circumstances. Conversion Permission You are not allowed to convert this file under any circumstances. Asset Use Permission You are not allowed to use assets of my file under any circumstances

Got it from SimWorks Studio. $35.45 conversion from Euros. 1s and 0s are the same as from the others, just a bit cheaper.

The Kodiak manual suggests disabling "Aircraft Stress Damage" for other reasons, but it looks like it would help you, too.

Haven't tried it but this seems to be a better option and something that need not be done with every startup. Good candidate for the "vote if you want to get it" simmers.

I took a look at FSDT's KORD and don't notice the two types of signs you mention. Also have the Super Deluxe ($120) Store version of MSFS. Maybe check Content Manager to make sure Asobo KORD is really uninstalled. When I joined the Hotfix beta one of the 4 default airports I intentionally uninstall got put back in. Think it was LFMN but who knows. Other than that all I can recommend is to empty the Community folder, check for the problem, add some addons, check, etc until you can isolate the problem. FYI, I have REX Airport Textures (or whatever it's called) and LVFR Arex North America installed and active.

No worries, I've been there too. Most times I just go onto the next post, but sometimes I hit reply. It happens. The REX devs have answered my original question so now I know for sure.

Di you notice it was a question? I already have Weather Force and adding this REX Seasons would bring weather tools up to approx $50US. Considering I bought MSFS for $120US that's a lot of money for something that was promised when the game was launched and eventually will be a core utility.

Correct. But I still don't understand why this is needed in the first place. The Avsim Library, Flightsim.to and many other freeware (and payware) outlets already supply simmers with beautifully crafted sceneries and airports without the needing to force me to add it. As others have already mentioned, there's a lot of really good freeware out there and also a lot of crapola. I don't see this as being any different.

Probably not much until the Robinhood crowd decides it would be fun to make a Las Vegas in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. As I understand it, the scenery being in the core of MSFS, I'd have to deal with loading it every time I started the sim. No thanks. If it comes as an option and I can ignore the airports, planes, etc that don't interest me, well then fine, no problem.

If you have MSFS2020 you already have it. Options > Controls Options > Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Save Custom Camera 0 - 9 Load Custom Camera 0 - 9 I kept the default key combo to save the camera views and the Keypad 0 - 9 to load the camera views. Takes about as long as Chaseplane to setup. Other camera views are available (exterior, drone) but I haven't played around with those. Number of Youtube videos explain the process.

I'm not seeing this with the 1.21.18 beta version and any of the CRJ's 4 variants. Solution to your blank screens is in the Aerosoft forums.

As I said in my OP it was just one flight with the v1.21.18 beta. Live weather outside my window was changing for the worse and my short flight took off heading for the upcoming front. When I "found" the front the weather change was not gradual as would happen IRL. Altimeter spun rapidly as the barometer changed, partly cloudy changed to complete overcast ... instantly.

Mods, this is brilliant and should be pinned!

It does not recenter. If you pause TrackIR, it stays where you're looking forever. Back to normal, ie: pre-SU7.

Works fine for me in the beta 1.21.17. Just like before they broke it with the SU7 update. Check your settings for duplicates and the other usual suspects.
