Happened to me yesterday (20Jan, 2022). Rebooted the computer after 3 unsuccessful attempts and it worked. Or it could be just another way Microsft has decided to perturb the user base. Game of the Year? Really? What were the other choices?

Fot Bijans 4 Seasons Pack v7.0 If you are using Addon Linker you only want one season active at any time. You live in the US and it's winter so you only want Bijans Seasons - Winter N - Summer S active (green) in Addon Linker and copied over to your Community folder. The rest of the Seasons remain inactive (red) in Addon Linker. Same for the different Mask choices - only one active at a time in Addon Linker. The Bijan - Model Assets folder should be active all the time as it contains the trees and other scenery models. Not sure of the reason for the "lib" folder. Making it active in Addon Linker doesn't get it copied over to the Community folder so maybe Bijan will comment on its purpose. As I understand Bijans 4 Season Pack it does not control or influence whether it snows in Miami, FL, or not snow in Chicago, IL. It is all about seasons and textures, not weather.

Can you hear yourself talk? If ATC is in OFFLINE mode do you have the necessary language pack? I have no idea how to check that but believe Windows is doing the text-to-speech, not Azure. Try a different MFS2020 server. Don't know if this helps but here are my settings from the top half of the Sound menu: Default, ON, OFF, ON, OFF, AZURE, COLOR2, OFF

Interesting. I don't have the TRACKIR tab on the Control Options menu, but it works fine except when Asobo tinkers and breaks it. What version of the driver are you using? V5.4 here, which is the latest I believe. Word not allowed, I didn't have TrackIR runing. Tab appears when TrackIR is running. Never noticed it before.

About the only thing you haven't tried is taking out the graphics card and reseating it. IE: take it out and put it back in. What have you got to lose?

You don't mention the brand of RTX3070ti you bought. Might be the GPU is not properly identifying itself and MSFS is getting confused and spews out a generic warning. Easier to look thru the manufacturer's website for a few minutes than install Win10 and MSFS again.

How many times have I heard that line? Once you figure out you can sell the numbers to help offset costs it's all over. But I'm sure you'll fall on a knife before allowing something as capitalistic as that. Heard this same type of response before MSFS2020 came out. Everything else will cease to exist once the be-all, end-all flight simulator makes its debut. I doubt Discord will be the end of public or private forums, or the ticket support system.

I remember reading that if you didn't opt out of the beta that eventually MS/Asobo would choose a date and do it for you (and anyone else still active.). Given how MS/Asobo screw things up I quit the beta rather than give them the opportunity to "help" me.

Could be the updater is looking thru the files in your flight sim folder to determine which files it needs to download based on your version. Give it a reasonable amount of time as there's a lot of data involved.

As per instructions I opted out of the MSFS beta and then updated to v1.21.18. All seemed to go well but now the Just Flight Turbo Arrows III + IV Show license failure on the co-pilot tablet. She loads and starts but none of the gauges work. Any ideas?

Just Flight shows the bundle for $44.99 which is approx 40 euros. Still too rich for my blood.

Hey I didn't link the year old outdated youtube video and ignore the author's 9 month old update. A year ago he was probably right, but things have changed dramatically with each Asobo update to MSFS so what was broken yesterday got fixed today. I'd be very hesitant to link a video more more than a week or two ago especially if a sim update occured in between. You went back a year thru several generations of MSFS updates.

Good grief, that video is from Sept. 2020, and the first public comment listed shows he/she updated his/her conclusion 24/2/2021 or February 24, 2021. Over 17,000 views of misinformation about the weather in MSFS.

Well Justsim EFHK is on sale until the 7th of January so it's cheaper than the MK Studios EFHK by approx 2.5 euros. But Justsim usually charges 5 euros for a major update and I'm not sure what MK Studios does. Flightsim.to has a nice freeware version but all of a sudden they've made me feel bad because I run an ad blocker and refuse to turn it off. I do like MK Studios Vagar and Keflavik so adding Helsinki would seem natural, but I'll wait til it's on sale.
