I've never seen a "Take the pilot's seat" screen. Is that native to MSFS or an addon?

Don't know why he spent so much time flying over snow in the 2nd video. Is flight sim snow the same depth all over everywhere? No dumping a drift on the leeward side of a ridge or on the driveway in front of my garage door? Does Orbx still offer the 20% discount to old people?

Store version, but ...... I was on vacation when SU5 released and followed all the horror stories here on Avsim. Decided to reinstall Win10 and MSFS when I got back. Good decision as I've had nary a problem and the sim is running better than it ever has. Reinstalling was easier than I thought. Fingers crossed.

I have the 175 and 195 variants dating back to the FSX days. Luv 'em. All the updates thru to P3Dv4 which I believe is the Ejets V3 that's on sale for $30. Visuals are outdated but the system modeling is still above average even by today's standards. Youtube has a multi-part tutorial by a 175 pilot. Short flight from KMKE to KORD but he packs a lot of useful dos and don'ts into the flight. Feelthere is non-committal about doing the Ejets in MSFS but I'd buy them if it ever happens I bought them for the upgrade price of $25 but I wouldn't have paid the full price of $60.

Wow! Something definitely wrong. Never seen anything like it on my end. No idea what could be your problem but the areas messed up in second pix are alphanumeric so could be a missing font or possibly a scaling issue.

Sounds very similar to what I was going thru at the end of July this year. Not sure if it was a Win10 update or my own stupidity but sometimes you just have to start over. Reinstalled Win10 from latest Microsoft build then reinstalled MSFS 2020 thru the Microsoft Store. Really didn't do any flying until after HF2 installed and I'm not having the problems others here are describing. All my key bindings and yoke buttons/switches came back without losing anything. All I lost was the P3Dv4 install with the zillions of dollars of scenery addons and other P3D specific utilities. After two weeks now I no longer miss it and have so far resisted the urge to look for the installer and order info.

With MSFS Addon Linker it's two mouse clicks (maybe three) and the Community folder is emptied instantly. Not an hour. And all your addons are already backed up in their original location just waiting to be relinked into the Community folder either individually or all 135GB ..... instantly. Work smarter, not harder even when you're not actually having to do the work.

MSFS Addon Linker is so much more efficient than zipping 135GB of data then copying 45GB to another location. And then reversing the process to put all that back again if needed. But to each their own. Good luck.

Someone's forgot that FSX was also made thru Micorsoft. As was Microsoft Flight.

The entire Aerosoft CRJ development program has been a continuous delay. Nice to see they're blaming someone else now.

Barely. Look in settings to see if you're allowing installed aircraft/liveries to be used as AI traffic. Or setting might be in the "aircraft.cfg."

No problem at a couple different default airports.

I sure hope this "killing" is being done thru the Marketplace shop. Some people feel it necessary to help fatten the Microsoft bottom line.
