  1. If you have IFR Academy update to v1.2 or higher.
  2. So the Windows folder structure (directories) doesn't protect a filename clash? Which one of the Asobo wizards thought this one up?
  3. Not sure if this helps with the FBW A320, but the CJ4 (with the WT mod) has some buttons and switches which can only be changed "in" the airplane. ie: you cannot bind the action to any key on your joystick, yoke, etc. I don't fly the A320 but this does sound familiar.
  4. Yes. I'm a Cubs fan. Although I was rewarded in 2016.
  5. Just finished reading a thread that ended with .... "hoop doet leven"
  6. I had that happening with v1.0.0.0 but it got fixed in the update to V1.0.0.1
  7. I also removed any and all calibration from FSUIPC7.ini which helped, especially with the Carenado Mooney.
  8. Not sure if this is still pertinent after the France/BeNeLux update but it might help.
  9. Unless the newer drivers offer something you feel is missing in the 440.XX series, stay where you're at. Don't go pokin' the bear. Unless you like to do things like that in which case bring along someone you can run faster than.
  10. According to my pilot profile I've flown 53,702,980 total meters in 14 hours. After conversion to Imperial that's about 2 million miles per hour. Shirley this is important enough that I want to keep it forever. Who's Chuck Yeager? Yes, I've been flying with DevMode = ON which borks the logfile, but com'on this is basic mathematics. Add, Subtract, Multiply or Divide. Why hasn't this been fixed? I'm sure Microsoft would be happy to license your data back to you for a recurring subscription fee.
  11. Little Navmap has a "Logbook" tab in its search window which lists airports used in flightplans. By date, time, name, etc. But you obviously have to use Little Navmap.
  12. Agreed. We've "made it" radioactive, uninhabitable, an open sewer, disposable, toxic. Our rivers kill off the fish that live in them. They start on fire. Manmade disasters, not nature. We have not been here a long time. Other species inhabited the earth millions of times longer than humans and today are nowhere to be seen. We have thrived at the expense of the planet we need to keep existing. I believe our (Human-kind's) next great advancement will be a dystopian society where we can only reminisce about the way things use to be. Pretty bleak but it does circle back to the theme of the OP. Think I'll rewatch the Mad Max movies to get ready for the future. PS: I was talking about autonomous driving, not Mars.
  13. Why are you copying the C172 into the Community folder? All that needs to be added to that folder is the GTN750 gauge package, not the whole plane.
  14. I won't be around if this actually happens. All I can hope is that my descendants (and yours) survive thru the beta testing period.
  15. Roswell, New Mexico, huh? Are you just visiting? I have a feeling every generation looks into the future and sees doom and gloom. Mine is autonomous driving. Just because we can doesn't mean we should.
  16. True. But the only way to see if a mod or update actually works is to install and run it. I religiously (most of the time) write down any changes I make to the sim such as setting changes, new installs, etc making it easier find out why things went wrong.
  17. Possibly added to the hidden toolbar at the top of the screen. Out of the way, but there when needed. Oliver? Mr. Lorby SI?
  18. Found this on YouTube but haven't tried it personally. Might help you land the CRJ and avoid losing the glidescope on final.
  19. I don't believe the menu button in the G1000 is active all the time. Only under certain situations does it offer a choice(s).
  20. Asobo has mentioned that they were NOT beta testing updates and new releases. This story mentioning 300 hand-picked testers came out on April 1st. Put it together.
