Is this possible in XPlane10
VeryBumpy replied to himmelhorse's topic in The X-Plane General Discussions Forum
Support for this type of flying would certainly help X-Plane gain passengers. Wish X-Plane would get 1 million in funding to finally give us FSX 2.0. -
Glad to share and help. The interior cockpit of the B377 I really found sterile and dated looking, these 'worn in' looking textures fix this IMO. I must say, this plane package is nothing short of outstanding. Although it lacks a bit in the looks department, the functionality and immersive-ness is unsurpassed except perhaps by other A2A products. This plane basically has FSPassengers(which I love) built in.

I tried this many years ago when it was free. Looked nice and wasn't bad per say but far from a full featured realistic sim. I feel many of these games try to do too much for the small team they are. Wish them luck however.

Some nice changes, well done. I might have revisit this noise maker in the near future.

This is the best one I could find IMO. http://www.avsimrus.com/f/fsx-aircraft-liveries-and-textures-78/virtual-cockpit-repaint-for-a2a-boeing-377-stratocruiser-by-frost-44566.html

I just bought this. It's actually $24.25 if you select the bundle check box. Even though it visually looks a bit dated (VC texture 3rd party download helped a bunch), the features and overall package are very robust. Love the atmosphere all the added audio creates.

I'm guessing this is a well known issue but google search comes up lacking info. It varies per plane but many planes seems to ignore the Engine slider within the Sound menu. Does anyone know why and if there is a fix? Default MS Grumman Goose is an example.

across the Sahara into Lanzarote

Very nice change of pace instead of the usual mountains. Notice I didn't say refreshing. <jk> Wonder what the plane was carrying? -
Yup. SweetFX is great for glam shots but if you switch between cockpit view and outside views a bunch, depending on view, too much lightness or darkness becomes an issue. Work around is to set SweetFX for one view and then switch SweetFX off ( usually scroll lock key) in the other view.

No weather seems to duplicate the darkness of a thunderstorm. :(

FSX is great is so many ways but anything can always be better. What would you add to current flight sims to turn them into 'your' perfect sim? I don't mean necessarily just an addon, I'm talking 'anything goes' type situation; functionality from the ground up. Is a new graphic engine really going to make a big difference? IMO, not much really. What I'd like to see is interaction and airport management. Get to the airport, find the briefing room, check the flight and weather info, chat with fellow workers, check the plane history logs, walk outside doing a true walkaround, be forced to do some actual repairs on a plane, control the baggage routine, get and position all the ground equipment, operate the meal truck lifts....things like this, besides just flying. Almost like an RPG Pilot/Airport Career game but with excellent flying sim physics and handling.

Pick up a cheesehead at the airport for me.

I enjoyed this a bunch. Nicely done. A+ Thanks.

Desert Heat & Arctic Cold (PMDG DC-6)

Best shots I've seen in a long time. X-Plane looking good. -
I consider Ezdok very unfriendly and tedious to setup. However, once Ezdok IS setup, it is just as easy, if not easier, to use than default FSX view system; middle mouse to look, scroll wheel to zoom, arrow keys to move about cabin, pgup/pgdown to move up/down. Those that are steadfast and patient with the program, are definitely rewarded. That said regarding OP's question, I don't see why Ezdok could not use the most of same FSX keys and end up with a near same view system as FSX default.

Outstanding visuals but what about AI and the plane?
