  1. It's well proven, FSX much prefers Intel and nVidia, neither of which you currently have. You are also trying to run several addons making things even more demanding. You don't mention what resolution you fly at but it should be 1080p or less I would hope. CPU is very much king so I would recommend a new MB\CPU and a cheaper nVidia card similar to so..... http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117372 http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157512 http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127784
  2. Well said. Maybe some day 20 years from now this will all have changed. We need an Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg to put a team together, spend 3 years then reveal 'The Next Flight Sim' that HAS IT ALL.
  3. Yes please, definitely interested in both numbers in different scenarios and personal feedback.
  4. Ultra wide resolutions can run into distortion on the sides of the viewing area. Personally, depending on your computer setup, I'd go with a larger 4k screen instead.
  5. Location..from your basement? <jk> Outstanding pics, great natural colors. Which sim is this? You know the flight sim world is great when you can no longer tell which sim is which.
  6. Nice. Looks like some dense toxic gas slowly working its way forward.
  7. Linking to the video might help, if you can.
  8. LOL, that Flightsim.com link links directly to the same overloaded www.sim-outhouse.com site.
  9. Even though the 4k is larger, it is much higher resolution and will look extremely sharp in game. In Windows 10 is a bit different. Unless you like to have icons and text very tiny (i.e. difficulty reading), the 4k will require you to run in an increased sized mode. I run at 200%. Some games have issue with this and the mode needs to be turned back to the nominal 100%.
  10. Jeez, that looks better than I expected by a HUGE margin. Is there a donation link for this plane that goes towards the hard working creators?
  11. Good to hear. I would rather hear about a 64 bit, graphics pipelined FSX, however.
  12. Did someone forget to include pics in this thread or are we suppose to only see the propeller washout?
  13. Windows scaling won't help within FSX but this is the only work around I found.
  14. Some before and after screenshots work better than words.
  15. Anyone know the back story at all? I'm surprised at the outcome.
  16. Hard to get a feel for the US Air Force Museum, any idea about how much time one needs to see most of it? Does 2-3 hrs sound about right?
  17. That was just the unmanned version. Waiting... <heh>
  18. Thanks, everyone. Some great areas to visit.
  19. Starting from Wisconsin, I'm heading east to New Jersey area for a week. Any impressive airplane museums or attractions to see there or along the way? I've already possibly penciled in the Air Mobility Museum in Dover, DE.
