So if its modeled, would one notice this change in yaw sensitivity on the ground taxiing or only in the air dynamics?

CPU for fsx
VeryBumpy replied to krstan's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etc
Running in DX10 can help offload CPU some but can also induce new issues(gfx glitches, stutter, etc.; depends on persons system and settings. -
Can't see anything at night...how to fix?
VeryBumpy replied to arnobg's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Pretty sure a screenshot or 3 would help a bunch on this one. -

CPU, CPU, CPU! Faster the better. -
So even the PMDG's make no use of Yaw Damper? Just dummy switches then I guess.

3.4 ghz <---- worst part. 4.5GHz+ is high end; but even with that, addons will still easily bog down FSX. Read up on fsx.cfg settings and turn down the sliders should hopefully get you to a happy medium.

I rarely see it. Think there has to be very specific light and time conditions for it to work.

Yeah, such a powerful program this is. Love how it allows you to only create flight plans with your payware airports if you so desire.

I know its suppose to reduce yaw/roll oscillation in planes but does Ctrl-D actually do something noticeable within FSX? I turn it on/off in the Captain Sim B-52 and don't notice a thing. Perhaps it isn't modeled at all in this plane but then I don't know what effect to expect.

Not sure we understand what Auto trim is? Do you mean Autopilot Altitude Hold?
-
Ideal Flight 10 does this and is the main reason I bought it. Edit: Reread and you said 'near'. I know IF10 will do departure and destination parked planes but not sure about it putting parked planes at enroute or near airports. That's asking a bit much IMO.

What happened to it? Was it officially found out to be a money scam?

Sounds cool, will keep an eye on this product for sure.

Why not post a day shot so we can see something instead of lots of black? Black squares after changing views go away after a few seconds.

A true, unique, funny guy. And a clean funny which many comedians can't do. Early reports say is alcohol or drug related, hope its not. Edit: Now they say suicide. Really?

Do you guys use enb and shade for fsx?
VeryBumpy replied to Gregdpw's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Try ENB first. You may not like the results as it often looks good in one area but then very poor in others. -
Trying to wrap my head around the Captain Sim B-52 but I'm sure other planes have similar I understand the Stabilizer Trim wheel will control the elevator position to maintain a 'hands off' level flight but this Pitch Controller thing I don't get. And does it have anything to do with the Pitch SAS Switch?

What is the deal with Aerosoft airports lights?!?!
VeryBumpy replied to Fi5kuS's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Yeah, I don't have lights like that either. Something is definitely wrong but not sure its the airport to blame. -
Skyhighsim - 50% price reduction
VeryBumpy replied to scianoir's topic in The Bargain Hunter's Shack
For the price, can't really go wrong. They look pretty nice. -

Some pic example of what you mean might help. I have Anchorage X and think it looks great. -
Sounds more like a hardware lockup issue. Overheating or bad bios settings perhaps. Also, try running FSX in Win7 compatibility mode with Run as Admin set.

Anyone see this? All views work find but when I try to mouse look anywhere the view looks straight upwards (either to blue sky if in Chase view or roof of cabin if in VC view) then any mouse movement only spins the view ie. am unable to look down, only left and right. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled.
