  1. You are correct. Intel Z97 version it whats needed. Darn socket changes.
  2. I would change out the MB for a ASRock Z77 Extreme4. Its is tops right now. Asus are overrated. http://www.futuremark.com/hardware/mobo Also, plan to heavily overclock. CPU speed is the absolute king in any FSX build.
  3. Interesting you want this realistic feature gone, why? I know cabin lighting annoys me at times only due to the fact that the direction the plane is facing from the sun cause a too dark cockpit condition and the cabin lights don't work well enough. Have you tried adjusting the airplane detail setting in options to lower settings? That may turn off lighting effects inside the cockpit.
  4. The http://5gb.net/raajvdlztk0a link appears to be broken. Thanks for the start docx btw.
  5. This does not happen in planes I have either but I've seen complaints about this before. It's either PC system or the plane.
  6. PMDG 777 or Concorde X, hmmmm. Tough choice for sure. Good luck with that, don't want to be in those shoes, heh. Such first world problems. Concorde X gets VERY tiring to fly if you manage everything. Even using the virtual flight engineer the work load is pretty high. Guess if you prefer to be lazy and look around more go 777; want your nose in gauges and like to think, get the Concorde.
  7. So can the 777 party please go home so that this classic plane can get finished.
  8. Forget the boring modern tubeliners, try Majestic Dash 8 Q400 or Coolsky DC-9 Classic? Concorde X is a good choice also though.
  9. You can adjust the camera movement speed in a setting menu within Ezdok. I'm at work so don't have it in front of me but the 3 camera areas (VC, spot and world) can be easily adjusted and set.
  10. What matters most is CPU speed so get whatever overclocks to the fastest speed possible.
  11. Besides compatibility mode and run as admin, Any new fix to getting Ezdok working consistently.
  12. You could try Xplane instead.

    Bergen X

C9 looks nicer but apparently AS is more realistic.
  14. >But is stange why the texture disapper only in 0.30 zoom, if I put 0.60 the texture appear. I think this is a FSX engine issue. I have similar problem with airplane landing light textures; zoom out too far and they render improperly, zoom back in and all looks fine.
  15. Where are these white stripes and flashes? Is it only in certain textures or objects or across the whole screen? Post a screenshot if you can would help.
  16. I doubt its the plane. Ezdok is such a fussy, glitchy program; especially with Win8. Did you install the 1.17 patch? If that doesnt' work, I would uninstall Ezdok then reinstall. Make sure to reinstall it from the online program.
  17. http://v35bdamagemod.blogspot.com.es/ Anyone know the status of this? Seems rather unique and I am certainly interested.
  18. By happily realizing if it were further out my frame rates would be even worse than they pathetically are.
  19. Check the mapping of controls and keyboard; looks like a conflict. Looks like your viewpoint is constantly trying to snap back to center while at the same time move with G forces.
  20. It's a glitch in the frame rate reader, it gets fooled in seeing more frames with another window open. I get the same thing. You really aren't gaining frames.
  21. Ah, finally I also understand. Agree with Japo32, would prefer to have my frame rate go back to the FSX value instead of Fiber ADDING on additional graphic effects.
  22. Yes, I think this is a bug. Fiber is acting like a frame rate limiter at all times instead of allowing FSX to go up to the FSX menu high limit if conditions allow it.
