    Do high enough res tiny screens even exist in the world? Edit: Highest I can Google search is 651ppi density but have no clue if that is enough to make the tiny VC aircraft gauges readable inside a Rift.

    Not sure your question is understood. How else would you control change of views if not with a key, mouse or joystick input?

    Ideal Flight 10 will save your parked aircraft position. Load up that airport or field or river, where ever you left it, and it will be there!

    Hmm...1.3.1 few issues. The program window is too large for my low res screen and I see no way to resize it. Also 'minimize ribbon' button does not work. Windows 8.1 here if that matters.

    I just play or fly or learn what I feel like at the moment. 'Enjoy FSX' is simply one of my bucket list items in real life and plan to do it for a long time.

    Calibrated to what? Atmoshperic pressure? That is the same as KTAS, no? Guess I'm looking for more of an explanation than just the acronym meaning.

    I would of thought there would be faux freeware designed airports that sport extreme, extensive detail. Guess no one has really ever come across one. <shrug>

    Interesting product. Product vision of affordable is a moving target it seems. Here's hoping for mass production and much much lower price.

    20fps minimum, no. You will be in the low teens. If you overclock to 4.5GHz, then maybe but still will dip to mid teens.

    I'm confused. The runway is a grass strip too. Why did mistaking the runway cause both their deaths?

    Is DCS a DirectX 9 game though? Also maybe install a DX9/10/11 benchmark testing program and test all DX features with it.

    It does look like a hardware issue but force a reinstall of DirectX might be worth a try too.

    Well that's certainly 'something'. Gotta question why such high interior detail. Will have to read complete thread, 10 pages, lol.

    I use quality headphones or connect to my basic home stereo. As long as both can do decent low bass, all sounds great. Many airliners or jets have some very low frequency sounds that get missed with lesser audio equipment.

    Yes, this is my point. In order for it to look and work properly they force you to buy the main region. They should offer their airports like everyone else does.

    Wow, that Isle of Man scenery is outstanding! And its a pretty large area too. Just installed the FTX NA PNW PACIFIC NORTHWEST DEMO V2.00, jeez what a slug this Orbx stuff is. Looks pretty but stutters galore, and super long loading times. Not worth the poor performance, my UTX stuff looks just as nice IMO and is much faster. Too bad Orbx doesn't simply sell the airports separately. I'd buy a few of the nicer ones.
