    I dont think there are any add ons that wont work with fsx-se. There is no point in having them both but if you choose fsx-se then you should format your drive to completely get rid of FSX or you may have problems with residual registry paths.

    For around the same price you can get a the F1 mustang with full systems depth. Nothing to lose as F1 will refund . Actually so does Carenado so you could try both

    Brilliant vid, smooth as silk. But surely an OC of 5 ghz and twin gtx 780s overclocked as well has a lot to do with that smoothness?

    My god Im thrilled Im not the only one! they thought I was nuts at A2a but I found a solution in FSX-se. Instead of loading the trike start with the A2A 182 as the default aircraft. Once I did this..no more helicopter. Try it ,hope it works for you. OP may as well give it a shot as well, nothing to lose

    Like Gregg im running 4k DSR but 55" about 5 feet away from me and the screen size is perfect. Real 4k though would be even better and with SLI 970's should be a breeze

    Its a mod that improves graphics but can cause fsx to be buggy on some machines. Whenever I dragged undocked panels to a second screen they went black so I got rid of it and all good.

    Did you install an ENB by any chance?

    You could try to manually add it by having a look at the config panel in the trike and duplicate those settings

    Did you apply thermal paste ? Also check temps it could be thermal throttling for the CPU

    Try to clear CMOS memory and another reflash bios...usually a good step if things start to act weird

    Howard I just went through a very similar ordeal where my OC stopped working and all sorts of blue screen dramas .     Since you have fsx-se you can pair it with DX10 fixer for stunning results, all shadows enabled and bloom with no noticable change in FPS
