  1. Wow!!!!!!!! Why can't that happen to me, at least one time.............I don't need two winners one will do!!!
  2. Interesting facts, which made me want to look further. Interesting article "Air Force One-Point-Three" at http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/01/air-force-one-point-three/385037/
  3. Indians fan but a great series and exciting finish.....congratulations to the Cubs!!
  4. Alex, GREAT tool and I look forward to using it on a regular basis. I also had problems with a file from UTX and a custom developed BGL for Rarotonga (Cook Islands). If I can assist by sending you more detail please let me know. Regards, Bob Werab
  5. Thank you gentlemen..... I am still using 5.4b so I guess that is still an issue, even with 6.0. I understand it is Beta so I will keep monitoring and go with the flow............ Thanks again
  6. Sheza: Thanks for the pointer. I missed it on the Front Page. I have downloaded and installed but it seems to hang of loading the scenery database, specifically on a MyTraffic BGL. Any ideas? The error is: https://app.box.com/s/vppjdcnsl8rtluxywsrc7y9lg3eqq71u Details are included in above image. It starts to load but gets the error on one particular airport. This is a very feature rich applications and I am looking forward to using it. Bob
  7. Eugene, Great stories....thanks..... Did you ever fly into Zweibrucken (EDRZ).......NATO when I was there....... Bob
  8. Jim, That subject headline was exactly from the article, I did not fabricate it AND if you actually read the article you will see that the Air Force refers to them as enlisted pilots.
  9. http://www.avweb.com/avwebflash/news/Air-Force-Selects-Enlisted-Pilot-Trainees-226545-1.html Maybe they will be interested in some of us simmers????
  10. About 95% of my flying is with the CS C-130J and the MILVIZ King Air. My "mission" is to fly into and out of as many airports around the world as possible. Airports to date 1080.
  11. I have recently updated my AMD display driver to the latest version (16.200.1025.0, June 6, 2016) and it seems to work great. I also changed my Anti-aliasing Method from Multisampling to Supersampling. It seems to have smoothed out my flights and provided me with a small improvement in FPS. I am running Windows 10 FSX Acceleration.

  13. OK OK, thanks for that beautiful CS 130, not the same model as the CS C-130, but pretty just the same....
  14. I had a similar problem (not able to use yoke for steering) on the CS 130. I shut down FSX and restarted and the problem went away. Sorry, I do not fly tube liners................
  15. Thanks Bert, correct answer from my perspective as well, also thanks for the link ( I did not know it was out there). Also makes it easy to tweak CFG for different aircraft and flying situations, without having to manually go into CFG.
  16. June 8th opening in Dayton, Ohio http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/
  17. I have used AFX (Airport Facilitator X) from Flight One.

  19. This 100 Drone Synchronized Airshow Is The World's Largest, And Most Impressive - 2 Min 25 Sec ►This 100 Drone Synchronized Airshow Is The World's Largest, And Most Impressive Drones have a lot of people worried about privacy, but they can be used for good as well as nefarious purposes. Take, for instance, a spectacular display of drone technology by Intel Corporation (USA) involving 100 small aircrafts being launched skywards in formation has earned a new Guinness World Record for the Most Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) airborne simultaneously. Controlled on the ground by a crew using PCs with Intel software, the mass of drones lit up the night sky in sync to a live performance of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and executed a stunning light show resembling a fireworks display. "Drone 100" took place at Flugplatz Ahrenlohe, Tornesch, Germany, in November 2015. The record was set in collaboration with Ars Electronica Futurelab to push the limits of the UAV industry and to show what UAVs can be used for.
  20. I think both are impressive. Definitely something we need now and in the future more so. The integration with ATC will be critical and it looks like that is a big part of it. Is there any target for when they would like to go "live"?
  21. Nice program, hope it proves out and is beneficial to everyone. Bill, didn't they have tracking collars on those dinosaurs?
  22. I am on AVSIM at least once a day, and sometimes more often. The information and knowledge I have gained from AVSIM has enabled me to enjoy FSX much more than I could have otherwise. Thanks to the Members and Staff of AVSIM!!! I have also tried to express my thanks with a donation every so often so that this resource will be available to us......
  23. After in/out 1053 airports on FSX so far, I really do not have a "favorite" I am usally following a route or going to a region of the world in the news or with some interesting weather patterns. Also focused on a few airports deemed "interesting" such as RJGG, SBSP, RJBB, NZPG, ENSB and OYTZ.
  24. Prayers to the family, what a tragedy. RIP for all.
