  1. and the mileage varies? ..5, 10 or however and not 2 entries for /5?
  2. what are you putting in the scratch pad? ...it should be the same format you used to add the 1st
  3. Does this help?... I made a waypiont before and after the MCT VOR as you can see in the legs page:
  4. yes you need a bearing. No, you dont select the same waypiont. If you want to fly to the MCT vor 1st, and then the waypiont you want to add, in the legs page it would look like: KENNET TNT MCT MCT03 <----it will look something like this when you add it. So in the above example you would have pressed LSK4 to add it If you wanted to fly to your user way piont and then the VOR KENNET TNT MCT03 MCT ....does that make any sence? lol
  5. Thanks Jack...i didnt know it would do it for you....clever little box...
  6. How can mct/5 giv a waypiont if it doesnt know the bearing? Mct/5 makes a ring around the vor...not a waypiont....no?
  7. In the scratchpad type MCTXXX/5 where xxx is the bearing from you want from MCT. If you want to fly to the MCT VOR then to the waypiont, rather than to the waypiont and back to the vor, enter the new waypiont after MCT in the legs page. XXXX MCT MCTXXX/5 ect.
  8. Have you tryed without tweaks?.....i'd take a quess is something in the tweaks causing that. What exactly, i dont know.
  9. ''You can give us 10 bucks and have it now....or, we'll just hold it for a year before we release it free'' Not really how business works. All you'll end up with is alot of peeved cutomers. ...then theres the fact that they could pour every resource into making the service pack...meaning nothing else like newer released products getting any attension..meaning other customers have to wait longer....only for 4 people to buy it.... (oh wait, thats already happend...STILL waiting for SP2....but i digress....)
  10. yep....Saitek is renowned for this problem.. i have it with all my axis in my throttle quadrant. Its the the pots Saitek used, whitch are extremly low quality. i have taken mine apart and cleaned the pots....but after a short while the same problem returned. I move mine up and down mutiple times in quick succesion and it makes it managable for the throttle. FSUIPC has a feature to stop the spiking, but not useing it i cannot advise.. Give moveing them up and a several times a try...you may clear the dust/static from the pot...but it will return. heres how to clean them.. : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOw9Cu_-cEI
  11. And, um....What plane do you refer to exactly?
  12. Think Rob ment an extension that you can plug into the back, and bring the cable to the front so you dont have to reach round the back of the PC to disconnect it.
  13. Shift + Z for me Press Z again while holding shift for other info.
  14. I had this happen to me...i thought it may be my Gcard overheating, so i took the case off it....the fans blades was caked it dust and all the cooling Fins was coverd, stopping airflow / Heat discharge. Cleaing sorted the problem.....(if that was the orignal problem, but havnt seen it since)
  15. i fully agree with that....but thats just how they roll...we are mere pessants...and the products we buy from pmdg....so say...doesnt effect there bottom line profits...only flight schools for airline pilots...ect ect...simmers are nothing....well i think there must be alot of schools if thats true...i dont know. I think its somthing to with piracy that the topic even reaappeared...but theres no need to talk to paying customrts like that. I found it to be extreamly rude coming from the person who is the face of the company. "we are good at what we do....and we dam well know it.." Signed Luke hill.
  16. The repaints are configured to the real world airlines...so if ''New Jubilee'' doesnt use HGS, it wont be pressent in the cockpit. (but, if you want the HGS to work with a repaint that doesnt have one in the cockpit, you can turn it 'On' in the FMC settings.)
  17. No. It is not wind related...in any way. Its normal for the lights to go out....youll see that lnav and vnav are armed in the PFD. After passing 400 ft above ground level, the lights will come back on. Reinstalls and wot not is wasting your time.
  18. There was an installer floating around somewhere, that would add it for you for the NGX....but im not able to find it ( and as you mention the data has changed, whether it still works)...but im sure someone could piont you in the right direction.
  19. Ron, Despite your PC making mine look pretty weak, the only thing that would cure my skeleton plane (737) was to make repaints at lower resolution..I.E 2048, or 1024, rather than the 4096 that all paints/ repaints are. When i posted this news, it kinda went unnoticed or was brushed off... If you cant cure the problem any other way then give it a try....you wont notice any diffrence in looks of the repaint quality at a a lower resolution - at normall veiwing distances...and even then if you were to zoom in the diffrence in quality Vs performance isnt werth worrying about.
  20. So basicaly, you are saying we are all stupid..? ( ...and your question is blantonly asking if anyone knows what it is so you can then post why people are asking for something they dont have a clue about) ...Kyle, your not the only person to have ever read a book...or worked with planes, or in customer service...
  21. ...the panel state, is saved via the FMC
  22. Hover the mouse over the persons name you want to PM and you should see the button ''PM this member'' :)
