I only had a blue bar which was not moving at all after 30 minutes or more. So I unistalled and reinstalled and it worked (the first time I chose a different drive for the packages route. This time I left it at C drive)

I completely second this. Every summer I just flight around the greek islands with some jumps to Athens (flytampa, please!), istambul and the turkish coast. The rest of the year Switzerland is my main hub I love the approach to Sion surrounded by huge mountains. I fly to many places of course, but like Dominique_K I never get tired of these two. Can´t help with the odyssey+ since I own a Rift S and in my case it´s worth the upgrade, but not sure coming from an odyssey+. Not even sure if it´s worthy if you own a G1 cause they have the same resolution, but the lenses are much better without mura effect and less distortions. What worries me a bit is the perfomance of the sim on VR with the resolution of the G2, we´ll have to turn down some graphics but I still dream with having DX12 and DLSS 2.0 to minimize the impact of VR in fps. Another G2 pre-order here. I´ve been in the alpha for a while and going back to 2D was like going back to play with plane toys (don´t get me wrong, the sim is awesome). Mainly landing. In VR you´re used to land on a lifesize runway, making the proportions real and in 2D is like landing on a pencil. Took me several flights again to land my plane properly. And about motion sickness, I get it with racing games and a bunch of other games, but not in flight sims. Maybe is the slow pace, but I´m not sure because I play Il-2 Sturmovik quite often and it has pretty intense dogfights and I`m fine. Getting back to VR, I recall one of my firsts VR flights with a CJ525 from Barcelona to Mallorca. It was an evening, and I still remember the moment I left my plane cold and dark in the parking in Mallorca, took off my headset and I was like "Woa that was incredible", so real that I had to look around my living room twice to make sure I was not in the island. The whole flight was amazing, I can´t help thinking the experiences we are going to have with the new MSFS and its amazing visuals. Cheers Carlos

I was quite happy with proatc on P3D, sure it has its weaknesses but overall the experience was pretty good. One thing that I really loved was that it creates a really deep "aviation atmosphere" with users uploading ATC voices from different regions and the different pilots talking in your radio sounded very real. The bad thing is that proatc is discontinued, in their forums nobody heard about the developers for many months (years probably), and not even the mods know nothing about them. So I don´t see it coming for MFS, but I agree that a "more professional" ATC is really needed. Cheers Carlos

We should have DLSS 2.0 rather than relying in a "kidney" worthy graphics card like a 3080ti. That should mean a decent improvement in fps even for VR for current high end cards. Cheers Carlos

Hi, I´ve got a Wheels stand pro v2 with my logitech yoke and pedals, and I´m thinking about upgrading to the honeycomb yoke. I´d love to know if someone managed to make the yoke work with the wheel stand pro or to see if there´s a modded solution for it. I don´t have a table close to me to attach the honeycomb there so the stand is the only way I have for now. Cheers Carlos

I´m pretty sure the Reverb 1 and other WMR headsets will be ready at the same time on VR day one. On the other hand Rift S and Oculus based headsets could take longer, but not too long either Just watched the interview and I was thrilled to see Jorg Neumann amazed with his experience with the G2 and VR. lol Yep, that´s the reason no one wants to get back to 2D. It´s quite easy, VR feels like you`re there, inside a lifesize cockpit, landing in a lifesize runway. You are trully simming. With 2D on the other hand, is like playing at home with a screenie. That blurry mess thing is so old that feels like the old tale of "It will fall like 3D tvs"!! Cheers Carlos

I´m starting to be really interested in bush flying thru alaska after a few amazing jumps in alpha (always thought I was an IFR guy) and we need VR for that. Will be awesome. I´ve been wondering that myself, and it´s not clear (to me) that you can just upgrade from the standard in gamepass. Would be nice to just pay the difference for a Premium upgrade (if you have gamepass) but I´ve not seen any info about it and in I don´t see any "upgrade" options in Gamepass. They let you buy higher versions but you have to pay the whole pack as if you were not member of GP. Cheers Carlos

Yep, but I meant, since I already have the standard (with gamepass) I wondered if I could upgrade to premium from there and not to be "forced" to buy the regular standar to be able to (even with a discount)

I have Gamepass and I wonder if I´d be able to upgrade to premium from there. Anyone knows how it works? I guess that should be like buying DLC for a gamepass game? Can it be done?
