Well, it seems like Aerosoft's new Airbus series (318, 319, 320, 321) all have wxr's that are fully compatible with Opus, Rex, and Active Sky. You guys should consider figuring out how they did it so we can all enjoy the wxr!

Is there a possibility that the NGX will extend it's WXR capabilities with other weather engines such as Opus or REX in the near future?

It certainly would. Hopefully with the SP2, we will see if they manage to fix the windscreen. But who knows when the SP2 will come out..

Well THAT was a stupid comment.. I 100% agree, PMDG needs to focus on the dimensions of the NGX cockpit as their next big step.

Hi guys, I attatched a photo of a texturing issues on the PMDG NGX 900 series. Does anyone know if PMDG has taken these texturing issues into account and fixing it with the release of the next update? Thanks. Just look how the windows don't line up, and there is a line running through the fuselage: -look towards the right of the pic, you will the windows are not aligned. Can you see the line running through the fuselage:

I would also like to see correct cockpit geometry and split scimitar winglets. Everything else is fine the way it is, just make the flight deck dimensions more realistic! Please!

Is there a version of this ENB for download? I am looking for one that doesn't crash my FSX every time I want use Fsrecorder or switch items in the popup menus.. I think some of us are asking for too much.. The weather radar is a BIG plus in my book, I do agree that an update is necessary for cockpit geometry (mostly the main reason why I stopped flying the NGX), but we should be happy with this update. I am sure PMDG is taking our opinions into consideration, of course.

An update is badly needed for this aircraft. ESPECIALLY for the cockpit dimensions... I really hope they make the flight dynamics and cockpit geometry as real as the Airbus X is from Aerosoft. I know it is a long process to address and fix these issues, but this issue has been addressed for at least 2 years now, which means they should be releasing an update sometime soon. At least I hope they do :\

We could use some more developers.. I guess it really is a difficult and protracted effort creating quality software for flight sims, considering the developer to costumer ratio. The FS community needs more attention!

Just a thought on any future upgrades for Aerosoft's Airbus X Extended, A320-A321 series, A318,19 series, etc.. I think Aerosoft should implement some extra realistic features to the Airbus series' including a modifiable satcom installation, just as PMDG has put into the NGX and 777, because many airliners today have modified their aircraft with satcoms (I feel this would give it more of a modern, realistic feel). And also the ability to control the cabin lights, also just as PMDG has applied to their aircraft, would be great. IMO PMDG forgot the cramped feeling of the NGX, or didn't model the cockpit correctly. The dimensions seem off and the windows too large..

Everyone I am sorry for my rant. I was really frustrated and tired. I apologize. I have been simming for a long time now, and I know most of the "tweaks" and adjustments you can make to FSX so it does not crash, and they do work. I have the free version of FSUIPC installed. I am up to date with my PMDG products. I just dont understand what could possible go wrong. As DONOR has said, I will persevere and again look for solutions because I am passionate about it. Thanks for the help. Yea, I guess we're all in the same boat then. I'll try to make that a habit.. But it would be awesome if FS just didn't crash at all because it is so beautiful and realistic when it works and the frame rates aren't suffering. Maybe Dovetail will work around those issues with their version of FS, and expand it even farther while utilizing as little resources as possible. My PMDG 777 crashes while on approach as I am configuring the FMC. This issues is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING AND FRUSTRATING considering I just flew a 10 1/2 hr flight to come upon approach and face the dreaded OOM or CTD, or FSX IS NOT RESPONDING crap. This is the third time this has happened after taking many steps to try and diagnose this issue. Why is it that PMDG has the guts to sell $100 addons like their PMDG 777 and not provide a direct customer service option even though they KNOW that this game is already unstable, and they KNOW people are bound to face issues such as this. PMDG, your products are great. But when you make them available to a game that has long since been abandoned by the original producers, and charge ridiculous amounts for them, you should make them as invulnerable to crashes and interference that have long been diagnosed and observed by simmers for the last 8 years, and at least provide a refundable policy! Why is it that every other addon I use works fine and does not crash, whereas you $100 dollar product cannot even complete a full flight? I need a refund, if you have a "no refund" policy, that is absolutely ridiculous because at this point you are just stealing peoples money and not providing any kind of direct support which is ######!! Most flight sim companies have grace periods and refund policies because they KNOW that FSX is buggy and they KNOW people will be ###### off spending hundreds of dollars for something they can not use. --- That was my rant because I am just so fed up with this game and these issues, I am moving to X PLANE. Good luck dedicated FSX users and so long! SMH :angry2:
