  1. Just checked again, I confirm Simmarket is the EXCLUSIVE seller for the Maddog.
  2. Seeing the tags you put in the thread title, perhaps you were talking about the Leonardo Maddog. AFAIK Simmarket is the only seller for this bird.
  3. Hi! You can buy it directly from the developper website : https://tfdidesign.com/
  4. Same here. Too many undue crashes due to invisible objects. The crashes were very unrealistic too. I'm not sure it has changed much in P3D4, and I'm happy with it. I fly on IVAO and the recommend having it off too.
  5. OK.... I don't really understand why but you are obviously in the need to prove something here and pick a fight. I was merely providing information that the aforementioned problem was not only regarding SLI but any rig that has more than one GPU. Why you are offended by this I don't know lol but I'm not going to follow you on the path where you want to bring me. I'll let the others make use of the information that I feel is needed because not explicitly on the product page. Have a good day y'all!
  6. Not gonna add anything about what I said about the Maddog in the other thread. I also own a TrackIr5 that I used mainly in Falcon4 BMS. It is a very good tool quite easy to setup. However it requires wearing a cap with the reflectors while simming, which can be annoying at times for some people. Just be aware of that!
  7. LOL, it's not a statement it is a fact. I have a custom home cockpit that needed two cards and the problem was there, acknowledged by the dev. Whether you like it or not the bug is still here if you have several GPUs.
  8. Unfortunately they just look similar when you are half blind and looking 2 miles away. They are very different devices and although I would love to see a Rxp G1000 to replace all those crappy Carenado G1000, creating the full suite would take quite some time to Jean-Luc and his team. I hope it will happen one day though!
  9. If you want a plane from that family I suggest you get the Leonardo Maddog.
  10. It's not only with SLI. If you have two GPU active, even not linked via SLI Trueglass rain effects will not work.
  11. Sorry, disregard last transmission, I had Reno in my mind. I own the SLC scenery too and it works very well! Reno is top notch also.
  12. There is some documentation that is available on the website. Here's the link https://www.flythemaddog.com/forum/index.php?/forum/44-pdf-documents/ I suggest you subscribe to their forums too, it can be of great help if you experience difficulties. One last thing, If you have a Facebook account there is a private group called FlytheMaddogx - pilots that holds quite a fair amount of information there. Sometimes I find a few of them act like jerks, but the devs are on this group and it holds a nice community.
  13. I'm happy for you. Did you get just the Md-82 or also the other variants? It was a choice where you were gonna end up happy anyway. If you need help to fly the bird don't hesitate to PM me.
  14. I used to love the TFDi 717, but I came to the same point as you. That CTD thing is like playing Russian roulette with a semi automatic. Almost every time it ends up on the desktop. This is the only aircraft that I have this kind of problem with. Also having a SLI means Trueglass rain not showing up. I have sent them logs and details experiments, never got an answer. The product seems dead right now. While I was one who advised to buy a year ago, I suggest people wanting McDonnell Douglas heir turn their lights to the MaddogX from Leonardo. Sorry TFDi
  15. As the others said. It's your only option, and it's a good one! Good combined with FTX North California and KTVL sceneries, gives you a wonderful area around Lake Tahoe.
  16. Hi, Not much has been said about the Maddog. I voted for this one, I'm going to try to explain why, but first of all I'll answer your questions about the Doggo. 1/ Yes the Maddog brings this even further since the aircraft is persistent. Each livery has its own life cycle, meaning it will wore out the more you fly it. You can also choose to immediately apply a certain cycle / flight time, making it more prone to failures for example. 2/ Yes, related to my first answer. But the Maddog is not only this. For example, there is advanced icing and fog effects. The brakes become progressively ineffective as their temperature increseases after heavy use. There is an ACARS on the way of full implementation. The operation of the aircraft is a challenger at first, but once you get to master it is unbelievably rewarding to fly. It was one of the first if not the first add-on to implement PBR. It is in both outside and VC, making the visuals stunning. The graphics are clear and the VC is of exceptional quality. I just love it. The price for all variants is high, but there is no doubt it is one of the greatest add-on of the moment. Even if you are not especially a fan of the MD-80, the add-on is worth trying just for the realism and awesomeness of it all.
  17. Great news to hear that 🙂 Been tracking for a while now. How will you release it?
  18. Don't fear that. The 747v3 although beeing a 747, has nothing to do with the previous version. You can go for it hands down.
  19. Hi! I own the 3 of them. The - 8 is a nice addition, but I personnaly prefer the - 400. If you already fly the Queen a lot, it would be my choice. My problem with the T7 is that it does not include the - 200 versions except from the LR. It is a very nice add-on though. Getting all three variants will get expensive overall. The QW 787 had a rough start but it is now very solid. Best bang for the buck since it includes the - 8, the - 9 and the - 10 will come later as a free add-on for the previous owners. Other long hauls, though "classics" : the Aerosoft DC8 and the A2A Constellation are worth it.
  20. Turboprop world opening at A2A. Brilliant!
  21. I'd love them throwing a dime into the turboprop world too.
  22. Whatever they announce, even if it's a plane I don't really care about I'll end up buying it because it will be a TOP NOTCH bird AS USUAL.
  23. This looks as it should to me too.
