  1. Yeah, so the expansions that are 19.99 will be 20.20 ? What a bargain ...
  2. Hi, by any chance is Fs2crew doing its FS actions using simconnect? I solved a similar problem with another add-on lately.
  3. Hello, you need to delete and reload shaders. In P3D 4.5 you don't need to actually delete the folder. There is a new command in the "Key" that you can assign. If you use PTA just reapply the presets.
  4. To continue on topic, the display I own is a Philips BDM4350UC/00. It has no Gsync, tops at 60Hz but this is more than enough for simming and the type of games I play. I paid around 500 euros for it. It sits at about 80 cm from my head and it is very immersive. I have to move my head to see corners, and the 4k resolution is awesome at this distance. If you choose the TV way, be careful because many entry level 4k TVs actually run at 50Hz. It all depends on your budget.
  5. Hi ! I completely concur with what Bob says. I run a Philips 43" 4K display as main display and a secondary 21" side display for the various addons. Immersion is a killer ! And the RTX handles it very well. The improvement in FPS was quite noticeable over my previous GTX 1080 (non Ti). I also love to play city builders like Cities Skylines and Civilization 6 on it.
  6. Judging by the screenshots it's the same version with the same outdated Terminals. It's just an upload to another store.
  7. So far in simulation the only moment where I would remove the springs would be for helicopter flying. Cyclic control ("the center stick") has no central position on most helo and it is an absolute PITA to fly more than 20-30 minutes with a helo in P3D without such a stick (since you have to push forward all the time).
  8. Hi! I am sorry to read about your struggle. I don't own either of those products but quickly wandering around the Realsimgear website I found this page was a bunch of instructions. Have you tried them yet? http://help.realsimgear.com/en Also have you tried contacting them directly?
  9. Hi (first things first), Don't make me say things I did not say. I never said this was not possible to tune it, in fact I said the opposite since I quote examples of correct behaviors. Perhaps the urge of showing your knowledgability has made your eyes only see what they wanted to see? I don't know. To be sure that I make myself clear : most of the not too advanced aircraft have not been tuned in order to have an engine surge at startup, it's as simple as that. Even default planes have this flaw. Some devs take a lot of time to refine this, while others have not. But of course, you know this already don't you? 😉
  10. Hi guys, What you are seeing is the "normal" behavior of the default engine dynamics of FsX (and FS9 and others before). Only tweaked FDE's such as the ones you can find in usually high end Add-ons such as Leonardo Maddog or PMDG (or others) will have a realistic behavior in that matter. Anything else that uses the default engine will have this problem. Fine tuning the engine is a very difficult in the ESP engine world (FsX, P3D) because the default is so way off.
  11. It should appear in the basket. Otherwise why not contact them directly ?
  12. Hi Dmitri, I used to have a GTX 1080 and the dynamic lightning handling was already not that good. The impact on frames was noticeable. The fact that you are using 8XSSAA and FXAA is probably the reason why you see such a terrible framerate. I suggest you remove FXAA as it is a huge FPS drain while not bringing so much improvement. Also what is your display resolution ?
  13. Please do so ! I am an eager user of those kind of files and I have built a few ADE myself.
  14. Daang! Thank you so much! I am an eager Lear flyer (mostly the XP Lear25 though) but this makes me want to take out the 35 again. Thanks, again 🔥!
  15. I'm with you. Handling characteristics, armchair flightsim pilots cannot appreciate because 99% never flew the bird. However, the performance and tables and figures in the manuals, anybody can do test flights and check the relevance. When the manual announces a FL350 as ceiling at X weight and weather conditions and you can blast through FL370 at 2000ft/min in the same condition in the sim... the FDE is definitely off.
  16. I had it the first time don't worry 😉
  17. Ok thanks, that's good enough for me not to buy and wait for the JF 747. I'm in the mood for a good classic at the moment.
  18. Did anybody buy it? I'm really reluctant price wise, and pretty sure the JF 747 classic is around the corner, so unless the Cs Tristar is great I'll probably pass (while I love treeholers).
  19. This is a great news. Love the DD packages overall. Not always framerate friendly at first (Seatlle is hard on my rig) but they get better each release. GO BOYS !
  20. if I may my friend quote the answer from Mr Kostas Terzides (AS dev) here for those who are not registered on the ActiveSky forums :
  21. Brilliant! Thanks for giving the Maddog all its glory!
