Nvidia Game Recorder with MSFS
MrFuzzy replied to Bill A's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I use the game bar and it's smooth. I haven't even installed GeForce Experience since a long time. Maybe give it a try... -
Grey like these? To me it seems that, when exposed to direct sunlight, this livery looks whitish on the top of the fuselage. IMHO the representation is correct.

Nevermind, I was on descent. -

It was my mistake, I could not find the INIT REQUEST* item in the INIT page today... I swear it was not there, very strange! It works after the init request. Thanks! -

Just to make sure we follow the same steps, do you also load the PLN file in the World Map? I hope that's not the issue because I like to use MSFS ATC 🙂 -

I don't know honestly, never noticed if it has even or odd numbers... I fly with default MSFS traffic and ATC. I tried with another flight plan and the behavior is the same. I will do it now, even though I am still in doubt whether it works as intended... Yeah, you reminded me of the legendary class "children of the magenta line" 🙂 -
FBW A320 V0.11.1 Auto brake system
MrFuzzy replied to wan2fly99's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
You need autobrakes (max) at takeoff and medium-low during approach. Why would you set them while the engine is off? -

MrFuzzy replied to Krakin's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Awww, we didn't. There was a ~90° turn in the approach path and the aircraft did not follow it despite the respect of the speed constraint. I almost hit a mountain LOL. Kind of expected considering the release notes. I had to fly it manually back to the approach path. It's not bad considering it's a first release, but I will park it and rather fly the A32NXfor now. -

I am testing this a/c right now with a 2 h flight. I can't say it has any game-breaking (edit) issues, however personally I still prefer the FBW for the sounds (during taxiing this one sounds more "hollow", especially when simulating concrete irregularities) and the general look of the cockpit (more realistic button and surface textures on the A32NX IMHO). Performance seems OK. Only it's annoying that it does not import the full flight plan from Simbrief and one has to insert waypoints and airways manually in the FMC. I was checking XP72 video and he does the same. Let's see if WE manage to get the RNAV08 approach at LOWI right 🙂 For now it's managing a brutal sidewind above Germany without issues. -

You continue to understand exactly the contrary of what I mean, maybe it's because English is not my first language. It's OK, nevermind. -

I really don't know how anybody can take my comments as hateful. I love both Asobo and the companies working with them for what they delivered in the last 3 years. My comparison was in response to your comment, just to say in the same way that "I know that the guy who delivers the flowers is unable to repair the roof, but I question whether the landlord is giving the right priorities to his tenant's issues". -

Priorities. Money, resources management. I know that Inibuilds does not work on bugs, but if my landlord sends me roses while the roof is leaking I ask questions, can I? -
It looks good here. Make sure that your monitor brightness, contrast and gamma settings are OK with these tests: http://glennmessersmith.com/images/adjust.htm

Thanks. So this is a decent A320 for XBox users but brings nothing to PC users, while serious bugs such as the Bing tile swapping and the airport texture bleed in DX12 (still in beta after 2.5 years), are still there untouched. Quite disappointing 😞 -

How is it compared to FBW? Still downloading the new beta, 2 Mbps as usual 😕 -

For medium budget, my Asus TUF Gaming B650 Plus. Rock stable with 2x16 GB DDR5 @ 6000 MHz and a 7800X3D.

PG works perfectly for me with this app. Usually I choose the new Bing maps but yesterday I flew in Italy with the Google ones and PG over Rome was perfect.
-
Yeah, the strange thing is that the Map Enhancement tool, even if set to Google Maps, doesn't work either.

Why do you use TLOD 170 with your system? You could go 200 and probably above without stuttering. Also, if you turn off sharpening, the textures become less crisp, not more. If I were you, I'd reset all settings (nVidia CP to default, MSFS to Ultra preset), restart and take it from there. Yours seems one of those cases where excessive tweaking leads to counterproductive results.
