    Imagine if you were forced to update P3d every time an update dropped lol. Forced updates should not be a thing.

    He wouldn’t have had the interview in the first place if he was that type of interviewer!! @MagentaChild but I agree would love to see hard questions asked. on a separate note, I really enjoy listening to Jorg, he’s exactly what we need from a passion standpoint even though I have a lot of fundamental issues with how this sim was released.

    I guess I could google it, but for the sake of discussion, will Ryzen have improved clock speeds instead of cores? I assume yes as that’s the only way we will get more performance out of a CPU for flight simming! Here’s also hoping for 6.0 ghz without overclocking (doubt). (p.s. I may be completely wrong about CPUs and their impact on flight sims)

    I have yet to see a thunderstorm in sim with lightning without generating it myself, not to mention you can’t even generate fog your self if inclined so there’s a lot missing from MSFS. I’m looking forward to REX bringing features that should have been in the default sim.

    The sim is a nice Bing Explorer, I would go back to P3d if I had the time to install all the addons and tweak but it’s simply too much of hassle to even begin doing so.

    The only reason I’m not going back to p3d anytime soon is because of the immense hassle it is to install all the addons with their keys, unique managers and everything in between etc and of course the tweaking required. if only I had the time!

    I didn’t think I’d need it after MSFS2020 released so I canceled my subscription. However NAVBLUE is not even a quarter of what Navigraph is. Needless to say I quickly resubscribed. their apps are bar none and now they are testing inserting the data directly into the sim updating airport frequencies and all makes it even better.

    Just bought P2ATC however I cannot get any phrases to come up on the drop down “Say it” menu. I do however get an error every time I connect, saying it cannot find my microphone. (Obviously because I don’t have one). anyone have a trick up their sleeve?

    Time will tell when and if Asobo will open up the API enough and expand the SDK enough to get the quality addons people are used to. Until then 3rd parties are in a holding pattern for anything serious.

    Eh default “premium” airports couldn’t even be bothered to have tarmac lighting, I’ll take any 3rd party any day.

    Doubt one patch will make it ok. We may actually get “random” wind tho.

    I downloaded a mod that fixed this, I think has since been taken down as it was only intended to make the strobes volumetric, and lights better on one specific aircraft rather than the whole game. Needless to say that was a welcome mistake. My point is that it’s at least fixable.

    It’s like that with the default airports too, but the default airports aren’t as detailed/have customized textures so it doesn’t look out of place.
