Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 - GROUND SERVICES
UAL4life replied to HiFlyer's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Eh at least they had variety. -
But for real, absolutely no footage or screenshots of contrails. Doubt they will be in at release.
-
Yeah the clouds have issues sometimes looking like pyroclastic flows which would be cool around Mt Fuji and other volcanos. but they also look awesome 69% of the time. Can’t wait to see what 3rd party devs do with the engine, (unless the rumors of a super restrictive API are true. )

Why not call MSFS an early access game?
UAL4life replied to ThomseN_inc's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
To be fair, they have a pretty poor track record on doing that. Look at Flight. -
Engine limitation.
-
“They better” lol what entitlement. It’s the whole world get over it. If they won’t customize it, 3rd party devs will.
-
Just need Drzewiecki Design to port their DC city addon that’s all.

The one thing I wanted gone in P3D... drat.

Froogle's Hands-On Preview of MSFS2020
UAL4life replied to David Mills's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Nor would I, but still it’s nice to see an old pal like that 🙂 -
I hope so. Especially since after COVID, airline schedules are a joke compared to what it used to be.

Why not? Older and weaker jets could back in the day at TWA. -
MSFS2020 - DUBAI International 747-8 Cockpit Takeoff

Yeah the whine of the 747-8i engines is on point -
MSFS2020 - DUBAI International 747-8 Cockpit Takeoff

Lol he requests for the pushback but ATC tells him it’s unavailable. There’s still a need for a ground services program. (See 02:00 time mark in the video) -
Nitpicking a brilliant looking game
UAL4life replied to d25bev's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
My nitpick is they could make the city lights turn on earlier or when there is a dark storm overhead. Sometimes the city looks like it’s in a blackout. -
MS/ASOBO pls put some attention on the clouds visuals
UAL4life replied to BerndB's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Meh it could be better if they added some kind of effect when passing through the clouds. -
Where's the wheather at CRZ altitudes?
UAL4life replied to avhpilot's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Nor are there contrails either. -

Can't get myself to enjoy my old sim
UAL4life replied to Andreas Stangenes's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Just to emphasize what everyone is saying going from tubeliners to GA. To chose my next destination, I used to use the random world city generator and then fly to nearest major intl airport, now I can actually fly to the nearest air field and preserve a good scenic experience so I am really excited. -
They really nailed the -8’s engine whine! Feels so authentic comparing it to my flights on LH’s 747-8i fleet.
-
Which now it makes sense why they don’t want the testers to share anything. This is probably the biggest flaw that they won’t be able to overcome... and it’s to be seen how restricted 3rd party developers are in modifying core aspects of the game.

Because you need Vector, which of course will never come as Orbx in their infinite wisdom along with seasons declared that it wasn’t needed anymore.
