Yes, fhe Flysimware Learjet is for me the best alternative to PMDG and Aerosoft Jets - its realistic, fast, agile, gives you a jet feeling but you must work a lot. I love flying 1h trips all over the world with it.

I also would recommend Aerosoft Friedrichshafen EDNY (smaller one) Stuttgart EDDS (medium one) Zürich LSZH (bigger HUB) They all are fine on performance while giving good details.

I had such an issue a while ago, only with the clouds. I found out it was an issue with the transparency antialiasing in the Nvidia settings. Maybe this helps.

Thanks for your (late) answer, my request was from July 2019. Many Patches (P3D and Lear) later, the problem is solved and i enjoy this bird very much!

Yeah, calibrating a joystick etc is something completely new in the PC world (if you find sarcasm, you can keep it).

As has already been said, this advide is misleading. I would always prefer the AS over the FSL for a simple and straight forward flight from A to B. The AS is so much more immersive than the FSL. And this has nothing to do with your subjective impression of immersion. For me, the virtual co-pilot is much more immersion than a full fidelity system in the background would ever be.

@thread starter: If you just want to fly from A to B with the correct procedures, take the AS Airbus, they are great. If you want more than that (simulate failures, try what happens if i do this and this...) then take the FSL. I am happy with the Aerosoft Airbus for some short trips (1-2) in the evening after a long day of work. I dont want to learn more about the systems behind it, because i dont have time for it. So, decide individual.

I did the same with my Logitech / Saitek Yoke: Integrated the Leo Bodnar electronics and it works very fine and precise - no dead zone existing anymore. I really recommend it! Works fine until i find an adequate new Yoke (Yoko, Brunner, Fulcrum, or whatever)

e.g. - for Games with problems with more than 60 FPS (all Bethesda games) - limiting the frames to meet your Freesync Monitor ranges (e.g. 30-60 Hz) - limiting the frames to save energy because your GPU calculates 200 FPS while you only need 30 - a couple more reasons why its useful and we dont need NVinspector anymore just to set frame limits.

I tried with the latest Logitech drivers and there is no change. I have a nearly unused Saitek Yoke since years at home, because of this ridiculous deadzone it has (ca. 3 centimenters around center position). Thank you very much for that tutorial. I already have the new electronics here on my desk and i will modify it within the next weeks and hopefully have the same effect with zero deadzone then! 🙂

Problem is solved, thanks for your ticket reponse. Summary: - My internet is stable, im online all the day, playing online games, watching IPTV, Netflix and so on...something like an unstable internet does not exist in Switzerland. Can be excluded from the formula. - The hardware on my PC did not change since i built it 2 years ago. - Probably my fault: I have not uninstalled each instance of the Learjet prior to installation of each update b, c, d, e, f, g. FInally i saw in my Program manager, there were two entries for the Learjeat, version "a" and version "g". I deinstalled both (strange that it was possible to have two entries at once), reinstalled newest version "g" and the activation worked. This together with the reset of the activations from your side. Thanks for reaction and support. Regards, Jan

Dear FSW Team, i downloaded the Learjet 4.2g version today and wanted to install (as i did with all the past versions). First try: After approx 30 sec the installer complaints "no internet connection was detected, you will be directed to the offline activation". Hmm, strange as i am online all the time with no problems. Then i abort the offline activation and try a second time. Second try: It does directly to the "Serial Key" page. I enter my serial key, as i did always. After "this might take a moment!!!", approx 1 min it complains "could not open the request". Third try: Offline activation is denied because i have used too much activations this week Please help to activate my product by now, because its weekend and i want to fly. Regards, Jan

Take the logitech throttle Quadrant, it comes with USB when bought separately. They will work for some years. Thats ok for that price. I am too waiting a year for some more Honeycomb reviews. I want a mid price yoke.

Hi, fantastic update on my favorite jet! Encountered a little bug on my first flight today: The Nav/Com Frequency knob of the standard GNS changes both frequencies at once: COM and NAV. No matter if you push the knob to switch between both. COM or NAV is highlighted, but if you turn the knob, both frequencies change (the value behind the dot) Can anybody confirm? Edit: Only in the VC. If i open it with Shift-2, it works correct. Regards, Jan

If you want a nice-to-fly Airbus, the Aerosoft 318-321 are really good. It looks great, it flies very smooth. I learned it in the past weeks and now im addicted, every evening a 1-2 hours trips (offline, with the P3D ATC, Checklists and Co-Pilot off, i want to fly it alone). Also, it has some very comfortable functions: - The integrated Fuel/load Planner, that generates the loadsheet. - The integrated Company Route Editor. - Full integration of GSX and Active Sky (and other tools) - Integrated browser based app of the MCDU (e.g. via IPAD - i use it permanently) I must really say, i love it. My next learning project is the 737 NGX...which will be much more work.

Hi Thomas, as Joystick, the Thrustmaster T.16000 has two advantages: - Contactless HALL Sensors (they will never wear) - can be configured for left and right hand. As a Throttle unit, i would take the Logitech/Saitek Throttle Quadrant.

Hallo Peter, du startest nur AS16, bevor du den P3D/FSX startest. In den AS16 Einstellungen sollte dann das entsprechende Texturenset (oder "automatisch") ausgewählt sein. Im P3D/FSX stellst du das Wetter auf AS16. Mehr musst du nicht machen.
