  1. What is this chinese/asian text in the bottom of the mod window?
  2. https://www.dropbox.com/s/q1vuodckyb3ix9o/Savoia-Marchetti S55 Pilots Guide v1.pdf?dl=0
  3. They overwrite the base Asobo aircrafts, those are not new aircrafts.
  4. Not a fan of this as this means you have to selectively reactivate the engine damage in the MSFS menu specifically for the Kodiak (because other third party aircrafts that have engine damage typically want it off in the sim setting as they use a custom system). Better to do it via an option toggle in the aircraft itself.
  5. You're correct. But Carenado couldn't care less about patching their aircrafts. Given that MSFS is now ramping up with many nice aircrafts for serious devs, there's no point anymore buying their aircrafts. The Mooney before the XBOX release was a very fast fast with a powerful engine, now I can't reach ceiling and it takes longer to takeoff than the Arrow 🙄 Regarding 4), the sound bug. It's a Carenado bug, again, due to ground traffic. If there is another Carenado bird parked close to you, your plane might play these sound instead of yours. Solution is thus to deactivate ground aircrafts, or remove from content manager the other Carenado planes. Yes.
  6. Concern I have about the 600 is how many liveries there is going to be for it. If it's less popular, the community will make less liveries for it...
  7. You will if you compare to e.g. Gaya offerings (the paid ones, not the free World Update Gaya airports).
  8. They are medium quality, the only reason I have some of their sceneries is that they do remote, interesting airports that other devs don't do. (for example, Faroe islands) But yes, they're average.
  9. early morning or late afternoon for most of my flights; better colors, more pronounced shadows on topography noon when flying near watermasks. You don't see them well otherwise night occasionally for the calm ambiance, as well as the extra challenge when doing no GPS runs
  10. You can add Amazon Polly voices too to get natural voices.
  11. Sucks that the iconic Pilatus came before and won't get that treatment.
  12. True but there are countless high-quality guides for the A320, no need to reinvent the wheel.
  13. Why post all this detailed information but not your screen resolution which majorly impacts FPS? 🙄
  14. Quoting average CPU load is useless 🙄 what matters is usage per core
  15. Think. We will see liveries for the Fenix on Flightsim.to when people make liveries for the Fenix on Flightsim.to.
  16. Switzerland has the best satellite imagery (full country coverage, same season, no clouds) and top mesh. It's the country that has the best representation in the game. You can couple it with mods from flightsim.to such as the one that adds VFR obstacles, or the ski lift mod. Additionally, the country itself is very pretty to fly in due to mountains, lakes and green fields.
  17. Can someone enlighten us about the actual differences between the packages, anything more meaty than simply longer hull / more pax?
  18. Flight Plans for the CRJ are best done with SimBrief. Then, you use the SimBrief downloader app to directly load it into the CRJ. On the EFB of the CRJ, be sure to check the options so that the perf data (winds etc) are loaded, and the SID/STAR if you want that too. To retrieve the Flight Plan on the CRJ once it has been loaded by the SimBrief app, it's in INDEX > ROUTE MENU.
  19. FSDG has released two new airports, Enfidha and Accra. https://fsdg-online.com/ I really like their scenery locations out of the usual Europe / USA / Australia, but unfortunately their pricing is high while the quality seems borderline MSFS, probably more like P3D era. Still on the verge about their Seychelles scenery notably.
  20. I find fs2crew excellent (a version for the CRJ has just been realized by the way), I haven't tested the other software you mention though. Would be nice if someone could chime in on the pros and cons of each. Regarding your questions: - Ability to customize flows/checklists (I believe MCE does this) no apart from minor things like who retracts the flaps - Ability to use my own voices such as Amazon Polly as opposed to just having default robotic sounding voices no, but FS2Crew uses real people voices, so it's not robotic, except when reading numbers (such as heading or fuel on board) - Easy-to-use interface but I do prefer something feature rich as similar to Pilot2ATC which I use instead of the default it's easy The voice commands work really well too.
  21. Weird because those 2 items are required to operate the autopilot
  22. This is not how it works. Milviz had evidently already started to work on their PC-6 long before they knew of the Microsoft/Asobo one or conversely, then rushed to release a partial version before Microsoft, realizing this free model would severely decrease the attractivity of their version. Also, aren't both Microsoft and Milviz doing an ATR too?
  23. I am still getting that engine sound bug on the Carenado aircrafts 🙄, and I'm not the only one (example : )
