fuel pump sound being extremely loud in outside view still isn't fixed on the Mooney. Did they fix the engine performance that was killed after the xbox update? What about the engine sound bug (most Carenado aircrafts have buggy engine sounds that alternate between different sounds after a few minutes).

The engine sound bug on their aircrafts is so annoying. Multiple people have reported it 🙄. Mooney, C170 and others switch to another soundset for the engine after a couple minutes in the flight.

Yes. I did send them a bug report about this months ago... Thus I surmise the engine sound bug affecting many of their aircrafts still hasn't been corrected.

Really reluctant to buy more Carenado given how poor the patching has been for their existing airplanes. Most of their aircrafts have bugged engine sounds (switching between different sounds). The Mooney has lost its performance with the latest patch, the fuel pump sound is ridiculously loud, etc

Yes the VS in climb is borked, that's the kind of annoying things that happen with Carenado.

No, you don't need to enter anything in the FMS when importing from Simbrief. Make sure in the EFB options page (second page) that the setting for importing weights and fuel is checked.

Regarding data, the single best country in MSFS currently is Switzerland, because it has the best data. I'd encourage everyone to fly there. (and disable live weather if you don't want that 3d snow where it shouldn't be, mountains look better without it)

Il-2 Sturmovik had a great Junkers 52 that felt more realistic than this one. Maximum braking efficiency can be achieved by moving the throttle all the way down." and " Airplane has a manually controlled horizontal stabilizer. It should be set to 0° before takeoff, to +2° during flight and to -1.5° for landing. Also, it may be used to trim the flight stick during the flight. The mechanical flaps control system can be controlled simultaneously with the horizontal stabilizer, these two systems can be linked or unlinked (by using flaps control buttons).

Do you have the engine sound bug? Listen to the engine (more noticeable in exterior view), the sound switches between two engine sounds after a couple minutes.

The IL-2 Sturmovik series has shied from releasing Japanese WW2 planes, due do the lack of documentations existing to faithfully recreate the aircrafts.
