PMDG 777 MSFS FIRST LOOK
FormulaJet replied to Falconfly's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Did you guys also count the rivet from the YouTube compressed fast paced trimmed 2 min video, checked if they match the real 777? I say enough of this detailed criticism out of some teaser video especially about the cockpit texture which can easily be modded by the community. Let us get it in our hands first with a proper weather setting before judging. -
iniBuilds A300-600 has been released! (reopened)
FormulaJet replied to Hyper14's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Might be a boring post but amidst all the complaints I have to say this: Earlier This week did a flight with version 1.0.8 Miami to Ibiza in the ACJ livery 8 hours no problems at all no bugs. Updated to 1.0.9 and did a flight from Lisbon to Madeira, no problems at all either love this aircraft since xp11 and now I’m loving it even more in MSFS! -
Making study level addons for MSFS takes a lot of time as we have seen with other devs. You can’t pump out good quality study level aircraft’s in 3-6 months that’s just not feasible. Just the beta test phase can last 3 months or more. I am happy to wait and they take their time so we get the best experience for our beloved flightsim.

Sim Update 15 Beta - 1.37.4.0
FormulaJet replied to iFlySimX's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Never had any crashes here but this update indeed broke my reverse thrust for a320 fenix, fbw a20n. Headwind a339 and a300. The animation plays and it displays REV on the display but no rev thrust or braking actually happens. -
WOOHOO Just tried and immediately noticed that I can taxi straight with minimal rudder/tiller input instead of correcting every 2 seconds and that on the a300, a339, fenix a320 while the c172 feels extra nice! also takeoff rolls the plane goes straight ! Very noticeable on the a300, no more fighting the rudder! great update, I’ve seen better smoothness on remote places or cities that are not too busy, except at KLAX A300 with fsltl traffic and multiplayer, performs the same as before.

Sometimes the STARS have weird S patterns and things like that but ATC in RL will vector you in directly or give you a shortcut. If you don’t use VATSIM what I do usually is check the flight tracking at the airport in real life and fly the same pattern by removing a few waypoints from the STAR but yeah London is a tiny space of land with massive aerial traffic it’s necessary for that area.

Joined a streamer last night with 100s of people and it took 3 hours with some simrate increase over the sea and some sightseeing to do MDPP-TJIG-TIST-TNCM-TNCS-TKPK-TAPA-TFFS, had to stop in TFFS, we didn’t manage to complete the whole tour down south to TTCP but it was very fun!

Are you being stubborn on purpose or are you just trolling around? The only unrealistic thing here is what you think is unrealistic.. We have all posted links, that you choose to ignore, proving the short routes operated by the A380 in the world.. But here is a list in addition to the already mentioned ones: Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, 184 miles (296km), Singapore Airlines Paris CDG to London Heathrow, 216 miles (348km), Air France Dubai to Muscat, 217 miles (349km), Emirates Dubai to Doha, 235 miles (378km), Emirates Dubai to Bahrain, 303 miles (488km), Emirates London Heathrow to Frankfurt, 408 miles (657km), British Airways Dubai to Kuwait, 530 miles (853km), Emirates Seoul Incheon to Osaka Kansai, 535 miles (862km), Asiana Dubai to Riyadh, 543 miles (874km), Emirates Seoul Incheon to Tokyo Narita, 783 miles, Asiana Beijing Capital to Shanghai Pudong, 681 miles (1,096km), China Southern

iniBuilds A300-600 has been released! (reopened)
FormulaJet replied to Hyper14's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I have tried this aircraft since release and it’s quite good did a RTW cargo op trip over several days, the route was: EDDK>LTFM>LLBG>OMDB>VNKT>VHHX>RJAA>PANC>KMEM>KBOS>EDDK All made on simbrief for each leg and imported into the a300. Everything went fine except for a few bugs. The good: autoland works nicely although it always hits the runway at -300fpm Crazy power on takeoff it reaches 250knots like a rocket ship simrate x2 and x4 worked good for me, no up and down oscillation and follows the track nicely. FPS at 48-60fps at add on airports and without using the frame gen mod ground handling and flying feels very nice, while taxiing you can feel the weight and you cannot stop the plane instantly with the brakes like some aircraft’s in MSFS. autopilot profile mode works as good as the real one, if not slightly better, ascent restrictions are ignored but descent restrictions are followed properly. the bugs: Sometimes it can’t follow the NAV route it stays banked at a 5 degree angle outside of the white line and you need to fix it by using DIR to next waypoint then it follows fine until destination. Some lights only show at night from the cockpit while you are right clicking to pan the view, once you release right click those lights projection disappear but only in cockpit view. Did not have any wear and tear on the RTW trip despite using the same FedEx livery and putting the setting on the EFB to FAST. overall i love this add on and can’t wait for what inibuilds brings next. -
Wishful Thinking for More Business Jets
FormulaJet replied to The Flight Level's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Sad that gulfstreams aren’t possible as the company will issue a legal C&D faster than Disney, but it would be really nice to have a long range Falcon 10X or globaljet -
What happened to the Aerosoft A330?
FormulaJet replied to cavaricooper's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Mathijs kok said they wanted 100% fidelity in cockpit operations and that is why there will be no cabin. If what he says is true then this is far from being released. the teaser looks pretty bad too, especially the wingflex and it’s just a slideshow of all the pics they showed on the forum as we can’t even see anything new, for example, the landing gears touching the runway -
It all sounds good, I am looking forward to the wear & tear feature as I like to take the same plane and depart from its last airport. I’m very impressed at how Jorg is involved with the community and listening to feedback, the fact they ask marketplace developers what they are working on to try not to overlap with their own planes is quite unheard of with gaming devs. Hats off to them. I’m glad it’s successful and leading Microsoft to invest more in Asobo, the success of this game also leads to more cool sim hardware for all kinds of planes. I even remember when MSFS2020 released nearly all joysticks were out of stock in my area. It was very hard to get one. And with 12 million potential buyers, it can only attract more devs to expand our sim.

What happened to the Aerosoft A330?
FormulaJet replied to cavaricooper's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Mr. Kok keeps saying implementing VNAV is easy but seems to be struggling with it for a couple months now, so which is it, are they incompetent or is he lying? Anyway I own the twin otter and the crj and regret my purchases and based on them I don’t think it will be better than the headwind a339, and once they quickly move on to their next project there will be no further updates. -
I’m not the type of guy to believe in any marketing speak and never hype anything unless I get paid but the physics looked wonky in the first trailer like the way the a400m dropped down doesn’t look like the real videos of the a400, the Visionjet looks like a plastic toy compared to the flightfx one in 2020. Also no mention of full fidelity cockpits, one of the cockpits of the helicopter shown looked really bad or proper ATC, ILS, papi lights, proper ground physics, better AI traffic, etc. but I guess that the Job simulator gaming folks who like to grind by pressing A to drop the basket and then B to make joe the lost hiker teleport into a basket and bringing him back to base to get a score screen, will get their satisfaction. I’m also wondering if they removed the thunderstorms from MSFS so the can add it as a new feature in 2024. I miss them they were quite nice in the early days of msfs2020 I will probably buy it regardless but I’m not getting excited until I can get my hands on it and properly try it out.
