Preis: 119,00€ zzgl. Versand
  2. Hello @ll, those of you who are in the Alpha are welcome to try the Lorby AxisAndOhs controller management tool. Apart from handling your joystick interface and MIDI controllers, it can also be used to connect Saitek Multi-. Radio and Switchpanels to MSFS (no driver or other software required). Naturally, all features are available in the FSX to P3D versions too. Lorby AxisAndOhs is freeware, available on the Lorby-SI website. Please be mindful that at this stage the MSFS version is still very much an experiment 🙂 Best regards
  3. Hello @ll, I have decided to release my PayloadManagerX (which I initially made for my own use) as a prototype. It is available as a free download on the "DOWNLOADS" page on the Lorby-SI website (next-to-last at the bottom of the page). This app is probably only relevant for those pilots among you who prefer military aircraft. With this tool you can: - Attach any sim object anywhere on your aircraft at runtime - Use simulated additional (external) fuel tanks that feed into your fuel system - Perform aerial refueling This app is currently only available for Prepar3D V4.2. THIS IS AN EXPERIMENTAL APP / PROTOTYPE - no promises as to when or if there will be further development. But you can expect all existing features to be fully functional. Best regards
  4. Hello @ll, I have decided to release my "AiAircraftTweaker" tool as freeware. It is available on the Lorby-Si website, section DOWNLOADS. I made this tool for my own use, but seeing that more people are having the requirement to manipulate multiple AI aircraft definitions in one go, I decided to release it "as-is". The tool will scan your simulator for AI aircraft (and optionally flyable ones) and you can - add default radios to aircraft that don't have them (to avoid AI getting stuck at the gate) - disable the exits (so the AI doesn't request the jetway at the gate) - tweak "toe brake scale" and "min throttle limit" (to change the distance that an AI needs to come to a stop on the runway when landing) These actions can be applied to a single aircraft or to all aircraft in a folder. Please feel free to post your ideas in this thread what else you would want to see in the list, or which action would be useful to perform on multiple SimObjects in one go. Best regards
  5. Hello @ll, new in the DOWNLOADS section on the Lorby-SI website is the "Lorby Time Machine". This small app will automatically speed up the simulation rate between the waypoints of your flight plan, and slow down at each waypoint so the autopilot can make the turn and catch up with the route. Best regards
  6. I'm pleased to announce the Reality XP GNS V2 for Flight Sim is now available! We're proud to offer you the same level of quality for the entire Prepar3d, Flight Simulator and X-Plane platforms! The products come with unique graphics technologies: HDPI 32bits RGBA bitmaps for unmatched visuals*, highly optimized code for near zero impact to the FPS, and in-sim live settings: no aircraft or sim reload! Both products also come super-charged with tons of customization options for panel integration, hardware interface and keyboard shortcuts. They also now offer custom variables to help integration with third party XML gauges with our GPS. I also know we are at a simulation turning point, which I'll best illustrate with the following questions we all ask ourselves: do I keep my 32bits FSX investment, or do I take the plunge and go for P3D4 64bits now? Do I purchase my needed hardware update before changing simulators, or after? What about my add-ons? We've decided to help you take the pro-simmer choice, in offering our Flight Simulator version compatible with the entire flight simulator family for a unique price: P3D 4, P3D 3, P3D 2, P3D 1, FSX-SE, FSX, FS9* Whenever you decide to migrate from an older sim (say FSX-SE) to the latest P3D4, your Reality XP product gets your back: you don't have to purchase the product because you are changing simulator! A single license has got you covered from FS9 to P3D4: - Want to migrate to P3D4 later and keep flying P3D3 a little bit longer? No problem! - Flying half on P3D3 for this great scenery, and half on P3D4 for VAS-free worry? No problem either! And one last thing: To further thank you for your continuing support for the last 15 years, we're offering additional 10% discount to all Reality XP customers until September 30th, 2017!* Fly Yours Today! As a picture is worth a thousand words, here it is, in P3D V4 64bits: Stay tuned for GTN Touch coming up soon! * FS-SDK limits: 15bits colours aka 'colour banding' / FSX (Acc/Sp2) and FS9 (Sp1) * Coupon available at reality-xp.com front page.
  7. Hi, Last time I've unveiled a number of details about our upcoming Garmin GNS V2 and GTN Touch for FS9, FSX, FSX-SE, P3D1, P3D2, P3D3, and P3D4, in 64/32 bits (what I usually call FS-SEX3D). I've also hinted further down the discussion about how the user experience is paramount to the total experience of a Reality XP product. Today, I'm pleased to illustrate our vision about aircraft panel configuration and what is to become your first-hand experience with our product. We want you to feel confortable from the get go. Obviously I know the most advanced users among you will feel at-home opening the panel.cfg file in notepad, nevertheless, there are times you just want to click-click-fly and there is no better way that leaving this task to the hand of your Reality XP assistant! First things first: there is no longer a separate programs to run, nor a simulator to close prior changing your aircraft panel. Your key entry to the assistant is this entry in the add-ons menu*. Right from the loaded aircraft cockpit, just select the menu to open the assistant: This opens a task-oriented assistant presenting contextual options: The next step usually consists in choosing what to do next: Finally, the assistant reviews the proposed changes before you 'Accept': When you click Accept, it saves the changes to your aircraft panel.cfg file, and automatically reloads your aircraft, ready to fly with your brand new Reality XP GNS V2 and Reality XP GTN Touch! I thank you all for the warm welcome and support! * with FS9, the menu appears in the popup menu when you right-click a window.
  8. Hello @ll, I have decided to release the current development version of "Lorby AxisAndOhs". This app is an external, stand-alone tool, that manages joystick/controller assignment and calibration for your individual aircraft in the simulator. All joystick input is routed through the tool and injected into the simulator from the outside, so it is necessary to disable the controllers in the simulator itself (and in FSUIPC if you are using that). The tool supports creating templates that you can assign to new aircraft, but every configuration is currently assigned individually to each single aircraft. AxisAndOhs does not change anything in your simulator setup, it is completely external. (unless you use the feature that disables controllers in the standard.xml) The app is still in development. I made it so that it fits my own use cases, as a casual simmer, who doesn't have a lot of time to fly. Also, I am always using only one aircraft with my favorite livery from an addon, I don't have the requirement to constantly change things. But of course people are approaching the same problem from different angles, so suggestions to improve the app are always welcome. The app is available as a free download on the Lorby-SI website. Best regards

  11. Hi, Before an official release, I wanted to let you try the v2.4.5 release candidate! It is meant to be the next official release If there are no 'widespread crash' reports. List of changes since v2.4.2: Added selected discrete inputs (see below) Interim 'fix' for TCAD on PiloteEdge / Vatsim. Settings Panel cosmetic enhancements. Attempt to fix the issue for the couple customers running Win8. Further performance and stability enhancement. List of changes since v2.4.1: added support for mouse click-spots in 3D and 2D panels fixed issue with transparent/last screen image when powering off/on the device. new render targets option: "PANELS" supports both 3D and 2D panels at once. List of the changes since v2.4.0: Massive performance gains: our tests systems show minimal to nearly no FPS changes from 1 to 2 GTN (and even up with 2GNS + 2GTN in some cases - YMMV). TCAS missing targets corrected. Revisited and greatly improved all 'panel instruments links', with support for mixing GNS and GTN devices (GPS datarefs, HSI datarefs, NAV datarefs and related instruments). Always On option: now you can opt to have your devices 'always on' regardless of the avionics switch. This shall help with 3rd party aircraft with custom/non-standard electric buses. Additional notes (v2.4.5): The new v2.4.5 adds three new X-Plane commands: CDI_SOURCE, OBS_MODE, TAWS_INHIBIT. You can map these commands to your joystick for example (there are standard X-Plane commands). As for the missing online TCAD targets, we introduce an interim fix. The issue is very simple: X-Plane SDK tells how many aircraft are active around you. However, although the SDK also provides a function for PilotEdge-like plugins to set the number of active aircraft, this value drops to 0 when on PilotEdge for example. We don't know if this is a bug in X-Plane (the function doesn't work), or if this is a bug in PiloteEdge (they don't call the function). Therefore, v2.4.5 considers there is up to 20 aircraft (X-Plane maximum) whenever X-Plane is not controlling AI traffic. Previous additional notes: The list of panel types has been extended and now supports the following (frame.type) : WINDOW, PANEL2D, PANEL3D, PANELS The new 'PANELS' helps for aircraft with only a 3D cockpit, as there is no need to configure 2 separate INI file render targets entries for the 3D and the 2D panels. A single entry covers both. Mouse support in 3D/2D panels comes in the form of new settings in the INI file. For frame.type = 'WINDOW' comes a new setting (default shown): ; enable mouse clickspots if true, disable if false (use SHIFT to override) usemouse = true When true, the popup window supports clickspots as before. When false, you have to depress the SHIFT key while clicking to temporarily override the restriction. This might become useful in the future for panels where you'd expect disabling all mouse interactions with the device (hardware controllers?), but don't want to have it in the virtual cockpit. For frame.type = 'PANELS' (or PANEL2D/PANEL3D) (default shown): ; enable mouse option: NONE,POPUP,TOUCHSCREEN usemouse = TOUCHSCREEN This lets you select if the screen should only toggle the popup window, or if you want full touchscreen support in the virtual cockpit! 12. Hello @ll, I have made my P3D AircraftSelector available as a free download on the Lorby-SI website. Nothing fancy, this is an older app with a simple purpose: select your aircraft by looking at it in the 3D environment of the sim. Best regards

Pushing the envelop higher, the Reality XP GTN 750/650 Touch for Flight Sim offers lags-free touchscreen experience, reactive CDI and Autopilot links, exports the active waypoints to any third party GPS/EFIS using the standard FS GPS has backend. Both products also come super-charged with tons of customization options for panel integration, hardware interface and keyboard shortcuts. They also now offer custom variables to help integration with third party XML gauges with our GPS. Our Flight Simulator version is compatible with the entire flight simulator family for a unique price: P3D 4, P3D 3, P3D 2, P3D 1, FSX-SE, FSX, FS9* And one last thing: To further thank you for your continuing support for the last 15 years, we're offering additional 10% discount to all Reality XP customers until November 30th, 2017!* Fly Yours Today! * FS-SDK limits: 15bits colours aka 'colour banding' / FSX (Acc/Sp2) and FS9 (Sp1) * Coupon available at reality-xp.com front page.

  18. Hi, I think it is time to unveil what is coming next, in a few days! Like I've said previously, I know how important it is to our customers not only to have the best simulation products. I know it has been hard to wait this long, but I also know our customers want bug-free products. Should our proven track record for our GNS V2 and GTN for X-Plane 11 is any measure, we're proud to offer you the same level of quality for the entire Flight Simulator platform! The products come with unique graphics technologies: HDPI 32bits RGBA bitmaps for a better visual experience than allowed by the FS-SDK*, highly optimized code for near zero impact to the FPS, and in-sim live settings: no aircraft or sim reload! Both products also come super-charged with tons of customization options for panel integration, hardware interface and keyboard shortcuts. They also now offer custom variables to help XML gauge programmers interact with our GPS. And as a picture is worth a thousand words, here it is, in P3D V4 64bits: Stay tuned for GTN screenshots coming up soon! * FS-SDK limits: 15bits colours / FSX (Acc/Sp2) and FS9 (Sp1)
  19. Hello @ll, still cleaning out the basement - Lorby Mooring is now also available as a free download on the Lorby-SI website. With this app you can anchor your floatplane to a spot on the water as if it were tied to a post. It will move with the waves and turn with the wind, but not drift away. Best regards
  20. Many of you know but I would like to make a separated topic about this. I am really happy to share with you my first scenery and scenery I was missing for Prepar3D v4 the most - Krabi Airport in Thailand. For now, it is a beta version as I need to improve some stuff (You might expect an improvement of Orthophoto with authentic autogen, dynamic jetways, roads, carparks, improvement of ground poly…), but it's completely free for you! Don't hesitate to download! Link for download site is here: www.chudobadesign.com Topic about announcement is here:
