I'll get the UK2000 Heathrow Extreme. And UK2000 Manchester Extreme. I have the "normal" version now, but it's pretty outdated... I mean, the ground textures really don't do it for me. That's despite the fact I have Mantex 2. But yeah, once I have those to, I'm more than set for flights to the UK, don't need more than that, since I already have so much destinations to fly to and aircraft to fly with.

I have used both.My preference is for Aerosoft MegaAirport Heathrow. In my opinion, it's not even close.

Benjamin, I would also recommend UK2000 Birmingham Extreme. It's also a gorgeous addon and a smaller airport, very sweet and detailed and with top FPS of course. Since I bought it, I've made a lot of flights from and to EGBB.And one more thing: as far as Garry's airports are simply wonderful, the preview screenshots on the UK2000 page are not very good. They just don't do the justice they should. So don't judge the scenery from the screens. If you buy it, I'm more than sure you will be satisfied.

I own the aerosoft scenery which is really nice simwings did a great job I have tried the demo for Garrys egll uk2000 and its extremely well done airport, I think some textures are better in the uk2000 version, when I get the chance I will purchase that one but I wanna get gatwick first since I have egll already. dont forget you can try the free demo. http://www.uk2000scenery.com/newsite/My_Ho...les/Page17.html

I value the recommendation, but I'm not sure I will go ahead with it. There are still a lot of Aerosoft sceneries I want to purchase, like Brussel Zaventem, Budapest Ferihegy en Flytampa's Vienna. Of course, when Aerosoft releases their FS9 Schiphol scenery, I'll be one of the first to buy it. Also, Seeing the amount of destinations I have found myself (just about all the capitals in Europe and major airports in Europe, and one or two in the Middle East). I honestly don't think I'll fly a lot to Birmingham. if I do fly to the UK, I will either go to Heathrow, Gatwick or Manchester.Perhaps though, when I get all the addons I want, I will take another look at Birmingham. I'll keep it in mind for later times.Silverbird: thanks for mentioning it! I'll try the demo and see how it looks, and, more importantly, runs.

I wanna get gatwick first
I have it and it's really great. It was my first bought scenery from UK2000 (I got hooked). I'm not flying there much now though since I'm impatiently waiting for it to be AESed which, I hope, will happen soon.

Very good point to remember.

I don't know about Aerosoft's versions but all of the UK2000 Xtreme airport purchases include both the FS9 and FSX version for the one payment.

Cheers, Andy.

With Aerosoft you usually get both versions too. In the end though, UK2000 sceneries are about 7 euros cheaper than Aerosoft sceneries.

It will be fun once they put aes on gatwick, I guess Ill wait for that since there are some sceneries I need to get first before uk2000 to many things and very little money lol but so far when I tried the demo I really liked it and it runs good on my system.

Been following this thread with great interest.Listened to the recommendations, both Aerosoft's and the UK2000 sounded like good packages. But I decided to try UK2000 Heathrow package, as I've never tried any scenery from this developer before. So far I like what I see , it seems quite nice, and not too bad on my FS9 frame rates.Thanks.Regards.Ernie.

Well, I don't know what UK200 has to offer you, but in my opinion aerosoft is better. All there sceneries are always made really realistic. Maybe you computer gets glocked up a bit, but at the end you'll always be happy haven chosen for the Mega Aiport Londen Heathrow from Aerosoft !!!

I've decided to try UK2000 EGLL, I already have Aerosoft's Heathrow 2008 which is very good, but hard on my PC's Frame Rates. My question is, do I have to uninstall the Aerosoft heathrow 2008 before installing the UK2000 Heathrow Scenery, or can it just be disabled?Ken
