December 4, 200916 yr I guess my question is how does it handle pressure or wind changes when cruising? I guess sadly, my purchase of a Bugatti will have to wait.... Don't blame for my name, my parents were hippies and met in Woodstock
December 4, 200916 yr Commercial Member The server issues with the website now appear to be resolved and store servers are holding up well now. The downloads themselves are hosted on content delivery networks off from the main store servers so there should be very few issues downloading once your order has been placed.Apologies for the congestion earlier on but we should have smooth sailing from here on out. Cheers, Adrian
December 4, 200916 yr I have now received an email confirming my purchase (Receipt of APPROVED purchase/payment @ EWAY). It was sent 40 minutes ago but there are no downloadable files or any order listed in "my account". Should they appear there quite immediately after the purchase has been approved or? I fully understand they are under a lot of pressure and I am not worried in any way, just wondering! I also realize their support should be giving these answers but I figured I could get faster answers to these questions from you! :DNo one knows or everyone is just too busy flying? :D Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------

December 4, 200916 yr Congratulations on the release, Tim, and thanks for supporting the "legacy sim". It's downloading now at a healthy clip, and the purchase process was seamless. Be flying until late tonight, I expect! :( John G.

December 4, 200916 yr Hi Everyone.I am glad that a lot of you have now got your order sorted out, and that the servers seem to have been fixed too. I am going to buy this when I get home from work :( A couple of questions though if I may.How many of you are still using ASv for the weather. (but of course REX for the textures and sky colours etc)And how does this work up-date wise, will it change the clouds / colours when the metar changes? The reason why I ask these is because I noticed in the manual that there isn't a time changing effect as in ASv, but a circle / radius range setting in side of REX, which being new and quite novel is a great idea, but I'm wondering about this because of the following.1) You are sitting on the ground at you're local / international airport, when after all the flight planning etc the metar changes, and as in real word it suddenly starts hissing it down with rain or snow. Now ASv would have changed this for you, but if I have read the manual correctly REX wouldn't have done so. at least not until you get to the edge of the radius / range set in the circle etc.2) But if you make the circle smaller to get more frequent up-dates, then doesn't this mean that you will be reaching the edges of the circle quicker, which would mean that you are getting up-dates at a very fast pace as opposed to a time set one instead? Thanks for any help on these questions gang :( Steve. December 4, 200916 yr :( Absolutely brilliant! Let me come to Warsaw one day and get you a 0.5l beer, Gavin!Sure, so long as you let me get you one back. Bierhalle, Nowy Swiat? :(Just purchased, looking at a 2 hour download at the moment. Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
December 4, 200916 yr Sure, so long as you let me get you one back. Bierhalle, Nowy Swiat? :(Let me know when you two make it a date and I'll be there as the not-so proverbial third wheel ;)To stay on topic - REX simply blew my mind. Pure bliss with no performance drops noticeable anywhere. This is the add-on to get. Can't imagine flying without it. December 4, 200916 yr Very good program, I think the GUI a littlebit slow, i know its nice and fancy but....The rest is top notch. You can use for weather too, so you dont need AS, but if you prefer AS you can still use it easily.I hope in the near future we will have more and more custom themes published.
December 4, 200916 yr I think the GUI a littlebit slowI have noticed that too.At the moment I am just wondering about the same issue that Steve (G-SWSM) mentioned.I got used to having RW weather updated in time intervals (ASV65) and I'm trying to get this method out.Could anyone (who already knows) comment on that?Beside the above, everything looks great!I haven't had time for a full flight yet, but the shallow sea water textures I noticed after departing Palma made my jaw drop & crash. And of course clouds were gorgeous (using HD) without any significant frame drop.Let me know when you two make it a date and I'll be there as the not-so proverbial third wheelBe sure on that, Mac!
December 4, 200916 yr We've taken care of Krister. You should be all good to download now. :)Adrian and Rafal - thank you both for your answers!Adrian fixed it so I now have the downloadable link in My Account and downloading with some 800 kB/s as we speak. Next question, would it be possible for me to send my parents-in-law to you for the weekend. The arrived late last night and are messing up my priority list right now! :( Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------

I need to investigate further AS weather+Rex texture REX weather and textures...etcbut anyway TIM your team did a great job.!
