December 3, 200916 yr argh.. logging in..logged out...loggin in...logged out...logging in... adding the product..logged out...logging in...reaching the checkout...logged out...logged in...making the purchase and pressing the confirm button...logged out..logging in...loggout... repeat from argh I guess my 100+ attempts at logging in and remaining logged in doesn't quite help the situation so I am giving it a rest now. Well, I am patient so really not a problem and I am happy for the developer if it simply reflects a huge amount of orders coming in! :D Screenshots looking gorgeous but being taunted by a friend who has it installed already! :D Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------
December 3, 200916 yr I can't get to the online shop either. Very strange considering that nobody buys FS9 products these days :( Absolutely brilliant! Let me come to Warsaw one day and get you a 0.5l beer, Gavin! On the serious note: that is one heck of a LARGE download.Due to the servers and number of buyers, I may try at night or tomorrow. No Simmarket, Flight1 or Aerosoft sale? Pity, could be faster.Congrats, Tim and wish you a lot of well-deserved success on this product.
December 3, 200916 yr For those who are using REX 04 so far how are frame rates? Any comparisons to ASV6 yet? I'm waiting until the servers cool down a little bit.
December 3, 200916 yr Bought it, downloading now. I'll install it in 1,5 hours, when it's done...*sigh* Benjamin van Soldt Windows 10 64bit - i5-8600k @ 4.7GHz - ASRock Fatality K6 Z370 - EVGA GTX1070 SC 8GB VRAM - 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX @ 3200MHz - Samsung 960 Evo SSD M.2 NVMe 500GB - 2x Samsung 860 Evo SSD 1TB (P3Dv4/5 drive) - Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM - Seasonic FocusPlus Gold 750W - Noctua DH-15S - Fractal Design Focus G (White) Case
December 3, 200916 yr I have now received an email confirming my purchase (Receipt of APPROVED purchase/payment @ EWAY). It was sent 40 minutes ago but there are no downloadable files or any order listed in "my account". Should they appear there quite immediately after the purchase has been approved or? I fully understand they are under a lot of pressure and I am not worried in any way, just wondering! I also realize their support should be giving these answers but I figured I could get faster answers to these questions from you! :D Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------
December 3, 200916 yr Congrats Tim!!! Agree with all the sentiments already expressed here as well. Long live FS9 it is amazing how no one downloading can bring down a server!! Must be some FS9 voodoo going on...Thanks Tim, You will have my money first thing in the am or as soon as I get done with happy hour :)-Paul Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
December 3, 200916 yr Downloaded, Installed, Setup, Running!!!!All in less than an hour.I have tried a few random graphics sets (in conjunction with ASA doing the WX generating) and what can I say!Absolutely brilliant!!!!!!!!No drop in FPS whatsoever (I do have mine limited to 23fps) and beautiful clouds (maximum layers in ASA, and the density upped in .cfg).I am not to sure about the skysets yet, as they all seem very bright and vivid. A bit too bright for polluted old Europe (as I said, randomly generated about 4 different setups and the skies, although different, are very, very blue). Now, FS9 with GE Pro, UTE, ASA, REX and my beloved Maddog. I am in heaven.Thank god there are still some developers out there interested in FS9.I have a good rig (E8600 O/C to 4.0 and a 280 card) and it runs FS9 beautifully. Neil
December 3, 200916 yr Just purchased and download in progress. I'd like to say thanks to the REX team for two sensational products (as well as GEPro which I still currently run). I am so happy to continue to support developers who further this hobby and community. Please treat yourself to a nice team dinner at McDonald's on me! :) Jeff Hepburn

December 3, 200916 yr Just installed, I never post about how good add-ons are but holy cow this thing is just outstanding ! seriously it has made FS9 look like FSX I am gob smacked at how good this is - FS9 is the holy grail ! I can not wait to try some other themes, sunset and sunrise especially are stunning. Good job guys !
December 3, 200916 yr How is the engine in controlling certain problems encountered with other apps such as cloud popping, baro/temp issues, wind shifts and ASA's problem of drawing cumulus clouds above 25,000 - 30,000 feet? I do use FSUIPC to control wind shift and baro smoothing, but I was wondering what interaction the engine with REX had, plus the cloud popping and incorrect depiction, plus erroneous temps or altimeters that sometimes crop up. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
December 3, 200916 yr purchasing tomorrow just to avoid the server congestion. how big is it the installer? (just to know if i should wake up early in the morning)
December 3, 200916 yr It weighs in at under 920 MB, but you might not have to wake up too early. I downloaded it earlier this afternoon with zero traffic or problems from the site - although I did need to turn off my antivirus scan during the download because it ended up corrupting the ZIP file. (*So, I actually downloaded it twice with no problems! Quick and fast!) The mad rush is probably over, so I'd pick it up whenever you get the chance at this point. As a tried and true FSX supporter (and REX for FSX owner), REX9 is the last chance FS2004 will have with me. It was priced far too cheap not to spring for it, and perhaps now I can get back to flying around my hometown with some FlightZone01:PVD scenery again.
