What aircraft do we all wish PMDG would make?

Featured Replies

What would you say? Do you think that all the technical details that went into the MD11, 747, 767 and 737 came from magazine articles about the planes?Paul
I'm pretty sure we have some data on the 787 (Boeing does) but are they willing to share it is what becomes the problem.

And Boeing/Airbus will be willing to send out information on their brand new airplanes that still have teething troubles because....?You have to be realistic buddy. I honestly think you have a better chance of seeing an accurate Space Shuttle addon.Paul

Airbus! Dont care witch any Airbus will do, as long its PMDG quality. As for all the other developers doing Airbuses in this moment,I dont care what their name is, they will never achieve PMDG quality! We need an Airbus done by PMDG!

Kind regards

Remake the 747 and the A380 since the A320/A330 is already being made

I would really love to see a 787 or an A380

PMDG apparently have the following running in development:777Dash-8 (not Q400 yet)PMDG apparently also have some kind of relationship with Boeing. We know the 777 and Dash 8 will be first before any further project. Now lets speculate on what we know:We already have a 747-400 and an MD11. Lefteris is developing an A320 with FSlabs.a 787 would be possible perhaps with the Boeing relationship. If they were interested in working together with Boeing to develop training tools etc may not be too far off plausible.the Dash-8 Q400 may be an obvious step from the other Dash-8's.Focusing on the Boeing relationship, there's a few other Boeing aircraft with FMC's that may be able to be developed. Moving on from 747's, 737NG's and 777's, there is the 717 (imo unlikley but would be interesting). and 737 classics (-300/-400/-500). The 757 and 767 are there too, and once all the above have been done the 767/57's we have now will be coming up to say 15 years old.Updating the 747 with new variants and new FS technology and techniques learned on the NGX and 777 would be a plausible step too.And this speculation has probably taken us up to 2020 odd. tongue.pngOf course this could all be a pipedream, but that doesn't matter, I'm just looking forward to an FSX fleet of 747 MD11 JS41 B737 Dash-8 and 777. That 777 already has me salivating and dreaming of awesome and amazing Vatsim Cross the Pond flyins in years to come.regards,Trent Hopkinson YMML

I would love the 737 classic 3/4/500 series. That would be great.

I would love to have a PMDG Boeing 717-200! There isn't one for FSX! It's a unique airplane, but would be a great add on. Probably a long shot, but just wanted to throw it out there. I do know that the cockpit is very similar to that of the MD-11, and since that's already done, it would seem that a lot of the cockpit work is already done, but I'm not an expert on modeling and building airplanes for FSX, I just fly them.Joshua Smith

I know an AN-124 or AN-225 would probably never happen, but they are awesome airplanes. Since eastern aircraft are probably out of the question, I think it is good for PMDG to stick with what they know, and they certianly know Boeing airplanes when the CEO is type rated in them :)You'll never see a 747F doing this cool.png

I would love to see high res. textures for 747 VC like those of NGX..After that, 777 obviously.

A 777 first, then a remake of the 747, then Dash [Q400] would be my ideal.
