I'm dying here. I haven't been able to fly for a week because I upgraded my video card to a GTX 480 through the EVGA step-up program and I've been using an older card that won't run FSX at all. Tomorrow night will be a different story as UPS has my card at the DFW airport.Can't wait to fire up FSX with the new REX textures and maybe the Aerosoft Airbus too.

I feel your pain and I have been there. However it should be worth it when you het your card. I have GTX 460 SC and it is a beast!

Tried the download link this morning but when trying to save the zipfile it finished in no time and surely enough it wasn't a 3 GB file so guess too many of us are trying to download at the same time, will give it another go later tonight.Would be interesting to hear from you guys who already managed to download the update what your new favourite textures are for getting that "as real as it gets" feeling.

Try with one of the recommended downloaders - my first download was corrupt, but after installing Internet Download Manager (http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/) I had no further problems.

I try to keep my PC as "clean" as possible and only install apps I really need but thanks for the tip, might try that if I'm unable to download the upgrade without the download manager.Anyone had the chance to try out the new textures yet?

I downloaded overnight. The install seemed to go fine until the end when I received an error message. There are a few over at the REX forums with the same issue. I think I will hold off on this for a few days.

Hmm, I downloaded last night to and had no problem. Guess the word is spreading.

You have to point the setup to your REX2 folder. It does not do it for you automatically. That's why you might have an install problem. I pointed the setup program to the folder...and it installed correctly. Whew!Now to see what it does... :)Post Edit: You also have to activate OD textures where you want them when setting up your themes. Not all textures are OD. :)Cheers,Mitch'er

If you have Mozilla Firefox just use the Download-them-all add-in. Its free and it works great for resuming downloads.
